Cookout
There had been an invitation for Excalibur to attend a cookout with the Defenders for Independence Day. Quinn was a Brit by birth, but he had spent half of his life in New York. He considered himself a Yankee as well as a Brit.

When it was time he teleported all from Excalibur who wanted to go to the Defenders compound. Quinn was looking forward to a day in the sun, on the beach and watching girls in bikinis with a lot of good food on hand. Not to mention Asgardian mead. It would truly be a wonderful day.

They arrived in a flash right outside the gates to the compound. It was rude to arrive inside the gates and Quinn didn't feel like fighting. He was a lover, not a fighter.

Casey had spent some time surfing and had had a blast. He hadn't had a chance to do that since he was in college back in Ireland.

After checking up on Sean and Marlow he headed up to get some food and beer before heading back down to lounge on the beach.

Seeing Svalin sitting off by herself he walked over. "Seems like that pregnancy of yours is coming along quite well," He says.

"Thanks," Casey says, "I swear he gets so much attention from the ladies I'd start to get jealous if it didn't make it easier to talk to them."

"Exhausted," Casey says, "It's a lot of work mostly by myself the others do offer to help out but I try not to take advantage of that too much. I know I've probably given up a lot of things but I just been to tired to really notice much."
