Big Damn Heroes
Abel dropped them out of a space warp as close to Earth as possible. The ship shook as it entered the upper atmosphere and the hull started to heat up and started to glow red. Azura helped Alex pilot the ship through the turbulence. She hoped the rust bucket held together.

Once they were past the initial barrier and slowed down a bit, they set a course straight for Xavier's. They ignored hails from local enforcement agencies and continued on their way. Their passenger, the Shi'ar, had been antsy during the whole trip and seemed a little relieved once they arrived. It didn't last long and he fretted until they arrived over Xavier's.

Their timing was perfect. They arrived just in time to see the Imperial Guard standing off with the X-Men and Prince Starbridge. Azura shoved their Shi'ar guest into her seat and ordered him to take over. She grabbed her gun and Godslayer and raced for the hatch.

Alex gave the flying of the ship to their guest and raced after Azura. Once they were low enough the Guardians of the Galaxy exited the ship to help Prince Starbridge and the X-Men.

	Xorycaal blinked once at the sudden appearance of the enemy before him, but quickly recovered and launched a barrage of strikes with his claws at the female. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Azura struck at claws with Godslayer. Claws scraped against the strange metal Godslayer was made out of, but she got scratched across her one forearm. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Alex takes aim. Aside from mid-range artillery with Red, he's had more experience fighting in tandem with Azura than anyone else. He fires a trio of shots that will go right under Azura's arm, raised to swing her sword, aimed at the guardsman's midsection. Extracting the X-Men would be a bonus, but he'd prioritize just saving the princeling if he had to. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Xorycaal brings his claws up, connecting with the sword, but is unable to dodge the incoming shots. They force him back, but his healing factor is already working to heal the injuries. He darts toward the newcomer, ready to dodge a strike from the green female to launch himself forward. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Azura fought to win so it wasn't beyond her to cheat in battle when she thought she had to. She tapped into the power of the Time Gem and slowed down time for the Shi'ar. She moved in and struck at what looked to be hamstrings. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Alex fitted a riot suppression grenade to the muzzle of his sidearm, then let it fly. If it connected, it would encase the guardsman in quick hardening foam. He kept an eye out over his shoulder for how the Phoenix girl was dealing with Kallark. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Xorycaal shrieked in pain at the sudden attack to his hamstring. How had she moved so fast? His attention focuses on the attack, he hadn't seen grenade. It connected, foam instantly starting to coalesce. Xorycaal slashed and clawed at it in an attempt to free himself before it hardened. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"I got this. Do your almost-worst to whoever you have to." Alex nods, firing another suppression canister for good measure. The foam will be air-permeable when hardened, but it should stop anyone short of King Groot, Emperor Ronan, or Kallark, for long enough. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
