Rita had been having a very long week. Things hadn't improved when a vampire she had been tracking had gotten away. She had tried every trick she had learned only to come up short. It left her frequently feeling frustrated since she really wanted that vampire taken out. He was a nasty piece of work.

Finally she gave up because she knew she couldn't find him on her own. So that was why she decided she'd call Tyler since he was an experienced vampire hunter. So she grabbed her cell phone out of her jacket and decided to give Tyler a call. Maybe he had an idea when it came to tracking down a vampire in a city as big as Seattle when it seemed like the creature had gone to ground.

	Another pause, but a short one as they heard the door being unlocked. A burly man with a bit of a paunch answered the door. "She can come in. We ain't too sure about you." "Excuse me?" Tyler said, starting to get upset. He was not leaving Rita with these..people. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Hey." Rita places her hand on his arm. It was obvious to her that Tyler didn't like the idea of leaving her alone with men who probably wanted to take advantage of her. Not that she'd let them. "Really?" She puts on the brightest smile ever.

"Okay this is going to sound bad but.... did a big Polish man bring it in?" She puts on an innocent look. "My ex made off with it the other day.... I didn't want to bother anyone over it because he's.... um. You know. 'Scary'."

Oh she's trying so hard to put on a show. She doesn't want a fight and this might be the best way to avoid it.

	That had her pause because she had a small list of assets she had acquired from one of her hunting trips. Things that she didn't need that no longer had an owner because their owner had been a monster. "I have a car I don't really need. It's a Ninety-Nine Lebaron. I'll trade it for my bike," Rita offers. 	And Rita is prepared. "You never know when you need to get rid of something," she explains as she fishes out a packet from her satchel. Pictures and paperwork. "And I have keys." This is possibly one of the more crazy things she has done lately. It's almost hilarious offering a n almost legit car to a chop shop. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She has plenty of tricks up her sleeves for situations like this. She had been planning on selling that car for research funds. Ah well she needed her bike. "So did I," she admits. "There goes some money I can use for research though. I'm what you might think of as a magical engineer. I spend almost all my free time testing out new theories on old ideas. I'm saving up for some books I need on working magical weapons. They're hard to come by."

She checks her bike over carefully. "It's why my place is kind of crappy. I don't need much so long as I can get what I need."
