Attack In the Night
Night settled on the city of Cambridge and the activity level in the city slowly died down as the hours of the night progressed. Midnight came and went and the minutes and hours rolled slowly by. By three am there was almost no activity on the sidewalks and an occasional car rolled down the street.

The quiet of the city night was shattered by a loud explosion at the location of 491 Broadway. The explosion sent brick and mortar in all directions and the concussion blast set off the alarms of nearby cars. Men in yellow uniforms with full yellow helmets on poured out of four nearby transports and rushed into the hole in the side of the building created by the explosion.

The men in yellow weren't the only ones who were interested in getting into the renovated firehouse in Cambridge. Another small team had been sent to retrieve a certain device and schematics for it. That team wasn't going in by the gaping hole created by the explosion.

	Jack nearly falls off the kitchen ceiling when the explosion hits, then takes off down the hallway as alarms go off. Bad guys! He gets to fight bad guys! Not just reckless drivers and purse snatchers, but some guys that are big and noisy enough that they can't be missed. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"How the hell is a girl supposed to masturbate with all the mortar shells going off?!?!" Kelly yells through her door.

In truth, she was cleaning and oiling her pistols, but that's no fun to say.

"Huh... masturbation with mortar shells... I'll have to see if the attackers have any spares." she muses more quietly, before getting the coms message.

"Subtle is my middle name. Want to point me in the direction of the ambush, sister dear, while the big, noisy folks deal with the gunners?"

Frustrated, he waves away some of the purple butterflies still fluttering around, and tries to adjust his comm. He doesn't trust his telepathy control not to accidentally transmit something to the intruders, so he decides to forgo using that ability now.

Okay, on the second floor in an open area with a bunch of intruders coming up soon. That meant time freeze spells wouldn't be so useful with those numbers, and his larger, and more experimental, spells were a definite no if he didn't want to destroy the building. Well that just meant one of two things: get creative with this fun or, if it got out of hand, take off one of the limiting spells on his gloves. Option two would mean the time spells would be actually useful but...he didn't want to have to do that needlessly.
