Road trip- Carjacked!
Stepping out of the roadside diner they'd made a stop at, Lena feels refreshed and ready to go. She figured it was her turn at the wheel now anyway, poor Tim had done most of the driving until now.

"Okay, I'll admit, I know about your whole thing about getting fellow lab people out and about to enjoy society and all but this is actually quite fun. There, I said it. I can enjoy being out of the lab."

In fact, maybe she'd make the effort to leave it more oft- ...damn it. No. This could not be...she'd bet the new equipment on it's way to her lab that they'd parked the car right there! And it had been locked.

There's some unlady-like swearing under her breath now.

	"So what kind of person do you peg our thief as? And were they good or just got a lucky break?" She's really just asking to pass the time and slow her heart rate. 	She doesn't make a comment on the security and anti-theft measures needing work. It'd be rude and Tim was very good at his job. There was respect between lab people. 	They certainly didn't, and she was probably worse at it. For the first time since leaving the diner she actually smiles, "Is this your way of getting to seem scary for once?" He was fun to tease, it had to be done. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Lena follows after him, doing her best to look like she's rushing to stop a tough colleague with anger management problems. It's taking a lot of self control not to giggle at toughTim because he was really too sweet for her to take an act like this seriously. But their car thief needed a good scare. The car came to a stop and Tim was all set to play big bad SHIELD agent on the driver. The door opened and a kid, probably no more than ten, climbed out of the car.

Well he couldn't possibly play the big bad SHIELD agent with a kid. Tim wouldn't scare a kid half senseless.

Instead he pulled out a business card and handed it to the kid. "Call me when you get out of high school." Any kid that could get around the security on that car was someone SHIELD would be interested in.

	Lena gives the kid a friendly hair ruffle and pats him on the back to send him on his way and make it clear they weren't going to do anything to him. When the boy is out of earshot she gives Tim an oh-you-softie smile. "Have I ever told you you're like a giant teddy bear? Because you really are." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Riiight. You keep thinking that," she teased. She follows and gets into the passenger seat, feeling very relieved. "Feels good to have the car back.
