An OUTRAGEOUS Revelation!
Irina having dropped him off, Argo felt the need to visit his friends and fellow gods of the Defenders. It had already been a good time since his return to the mortal realm (though he had been unusually quiet in discussing what, exactly, had caused him to leave Olympus). He had drank many beers, he had told many stories, and he had been with many women.

Some of the fangirls had been rather enthusiastic about his return.

But for now, he wished to see his other friends. He'd heard there had been a baby born while he was gone. To Svalin, no less! He'd thought her only slightly less frigid than Asleif, unable to be warmed even by the Lion Cub of Olympus. Who could have reached her so? His helm was off to such a master of woo, whomever he may be.

He rang the bell.

"If he knew anything of Dark Elf customs any deception would have been moot!" Kael said dismissively.

"He may very well had, but that is the only saving grace here! Where was he when mother tried to find him!?" Kael was only a foot away now. "Where was he when my only childhood companions were mockery and disgust!?" He turns his head showing a long scar across his neck. "Where was he when my throat was slit when I was twelve years old!?"

	"I know not where he was," Argo growled. "Olympus, perhaps, or elsewhere. He left my own mother when I was but small. But had he but known of your existence, he would not have left you alone." 	Argo, unprepared, was knocked several steps back, catching his balance as best he could. Surprise registered on his face, turning to anger. "I've no wish to fight you, Brother. 	The blow was massive, the crack of thunder probably broke more than a few windows. And Argo? Argo was laughing. "Ha ha ha! OUTRAGEOUS! Your strength is impressive, Brother! 	Kael wouldn't admit it, but it felt good to vent like this. "I am not looking for forgiveness!" Kael moved into a combat stance, but scrunched his eyes in annoyance. "Why do you keep saying that!?" He darts forward and sends a kick Argo's way. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The kick knocked Argo off his feet, sending him flying into a tree on the grounds. It cracked under the impact. "I greet you in the spirit of brotherhood, and you repay me with hateful words? 	Argo was probably stronger, but Kael was quicker. He flipped back, barely missing the first swing. "You had the benefit of knowing him! Being loved by him! All he gave me was abandonment!" Kael couldn't let go in time and was flung into the air. He hit the ground, his head connecting with a small stone. He went to get up, but a familiar fuzziness began to well in his head...

No! The wound from when he fought the mortal Exemplars! Not now, damn it! His vision blurred, but he wasn't going to stand down to this man..even though he didn't realize his steps were off a bit.

"Come on!"

"No. This fight ends /now/." She wasn't going to budge. If they wanted to fight they'd have to go through her. Which wouldn't be that hard, but it was the only thing to go.

"You are brothers. Like it or not. That means you have to deal with each other."

She turned toward Kael. "You. You have issues with your father, not Argo. He is not your father. If you want to take your issues out on someone, you hunt your father down and deal with him." Not a good career move for her, but her boss could handle it.

"And you," she turned back toward Argo. "This is how you repay our hospitality by fighting and attacking one of us?"

	Kael stumbled a moment, catching himself quickly. Kael gritted his teeth a moment, before letting out a harsh breath. "You..are right, Lady Sydney. I..apologize." A dizzy spell sent him back a little, but thankfully there was a tree to keep him from falling unceremoniously. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
