Lunching out (Backdated a bit)
"Manny? Are you free for lunch?" He'd been showing up to HQ more since the whole therapy thing suggested he should. But he still needed to get out of the HQ for some fresh air and he needed someone to come with him if he wanted to eat out. The Sanctum was currently being used for whatever serious business Dr. Strange was dealing with, which meant that he couldn't stay over there. "We can stay in the city I promise! I can't go for lunch by myself..." He hoped the older guy would agree, Manny was nice and Martin figured he'd be good lunch company.

	He takes off his hat as they enter and wait patiently to be seated. Martin lets Manny deal with the talking to people because, after all, he was the adult here. Though he does give Manny a quick look to try and remind him about corner booths. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Paying for their orders had been awkward at first as the girl behind the counter didn't look like she knew how to handle the situation. Fortunately the girl's supervisor recognized him, and eased him through it. He was sure to request a corner seat. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Martin would have been even worse at handling money. There was always the chance the money would turn into something...that wasn't currency. Which is part of the reason he needed someone to come with him for lunch. Happily, he follows along to their corner seat. "You can take money out of my account for this Manny. I'm pretty sure I have one, Anya set one up. But I don't know how to use it."

	"Okay," he nods from his seat, looking quite small compared to Manny. They didn't make the most subtle duo. "I don't deal with money much. Dr. Strange says that's everyday stuff that sorcerers shouldn't worry too much about. And I can't touch it of course." A vanilla and oreo milkshake should be coming soon for him. 	"My own place?" Martin sips his milkshake thoughtfully and considers this. "Well...ideally I'd be an awesome sorcerer in the future and time mage and would travel everywhere and everytime. 	"A TV? Why? I haven't had one in years. And magic and technology don't mix, which is why we don't have a TV in the Sanctum. I keep the laptop Anya gave me at the HQ. 	Martin is blissfully unaware this is awkward for Manny. "There's spells for that. You can have a sanctum with no electricity. Besides, we have lots of candles around all the time in case we need them for stuff," he explains. "Not that I don't like TV. I once had one, and I like watching movies with you guys now. 	"No, that's like...you can't just make stuff out of thin air like that. I mean, Wong just sells some gold we have to buy the food. You can always learn to make gold out of stuff."
