Deck The Halls (open for others for mistletoe meme)
Cait loved the holidays whether it was Saturnalia or Christmas. Both meant decorating and a lot of great food. Today was the start of decorating the mansion. Boxes upon boxes of decorations had been hauled out of storage and placed in the rec room. Thankfully Aunt Jean was a little anal retentive about labeling everything and putting everything back where it was supposed to go, so it saved having to dig through the boxes to find anything.

Cait opened a box and found a sprig, fake of course, of mistletoe laying on the top. Looks like that was going to be the first thing to be put up. She hanged it in the doorway of the rec room that led to the hallway. It was one of the most used doors in the mansion.

The thought of someone tickling her horrified her...especially if that someone would be Vlad. She use to get tickled a lot when she was younger by her parents. One thing she knows is for certain, she is deadly ticklish.

She blinked when he went from serious to laughing at the whole matter. Etoile gave a not so pleased smile. He was messing with her, she wasn't sure if she liked someone taking advantage of her airheadie-ness ways. She didn't bother responding, she just nods her head and takes more cookie dough.

Lighten up he says, huh? She is always serious? Etoile has never been fully aware of her own personality or attitudes. Those matters in life don't come so easy for her. But place her on a mission or a battle field you wouldn't even think she was an airhead.

He didn't think she was airheaded, just a tad serious. Besides, he wasn't getting anything out of it so it didn't count as taking advantage to him. But he sees she's not pleased and gives her his usual easygoing smile that clearly said he meant no harm. "I'm joking, don't worry. Wouldn't be mean to anyone I was sharing the hidden cookie dough with." He starts digging into his cookie dough share now. "So, tell me a bit about yourself. We're teammates now right? And anyways, at Xavier's everyone is family on top of that. And what's your favourite icecream? I'll check to make sure we're stocking up on that."

Etoile over thought it and nods her head. She returned the smile."Roger!" She said in a joking manner, before taking a spoonful of cookie dough."I got a point there." Waves her spoon in the air a little.

"Yes, that we are." Nods her head a few times."Uh, well, there are a few things I cannot mention. I hope you understand." She couldn't mention her time working as a spy for Xavier."Enrolling into my first year of University..scary. I hope it goes good. Hmm, I have a twin brother who is a complete opposite of me. Uhh.." what else could she tell him? This was actually hard. She really hasn't lived a normal life.

"I do enjoy playing cards. I'm actually pretty good at it, thanks to my Dad. I enjoy training, reading, more training...weapons are love." This didn't really sound normal, especially for a young woman her age."Peppermint ice cream is my favourite...Dr.Pepper is an amazing drink. Pinapple is my favourite fruit." She tried to think of other things, she figured she'd shut up and let him talk.

"I get it, say what you feel comfortable sharing, no pressure," he smiles and listens. He does take note of the favourite foods part to make sure that's on the list of foods that gets stocked. "Don't worry about the university thing. I'm sure it'll go great. Do you know what you'll be studying?"

"Cards I can do, but you'll likely kick my ass and as for training...after we're done I'll point you to the Danger Room if you haven't already seen it. I'm sure you'll love it."

Etoile nods her head, smiling at him lightly," Thanks...you're really kind, and refreshing. I like it," she says honestly."You think so? I hope it does..kind of nervous about it. I'm also glad to be starting. First I need to find my family..this why I came here." She pauses for a moment. She hasn't forgotten about them, she'll do anything to find them and get them home safely.

"I was thinking advance computers...I know a lot, not as much as my brother. Enough to really enjoy working in that field." She smiles a little, before eating more cookie dough.

"Yes, most likely. We should have a game sometime, I can teach you my tricks." She grins this time around."Really? I can't wait to see that room!"

Vlad chuckles at the compliment. "Thanks, and seriously, it'll be fine. You've got the rest of us if you need any help, especially on the family thing. We're all family here."

"Really? Nice! I'm in computer science myself, Mom was always big on that stuff and it's easier to learn when you've got someone to show you." He's almost done his cookie dough, high metabolism means he eats quite a bit, and usually fast.

"You would? Nice, I'd love to get good at that. And yeah, I promise to point you to it and show you some programs on it. The swashbuckling pirate ship one is my favourite by far."
