Etoile's world has been thrown into a loop, the days she had suddenly appeared at the front gate of Xavier's. She was sent here, not only to escape from being caught, but to gain more help from Xavier. Also, she wanted to lead a decent semi-normal life as a young mutant. University, building friendships, possibly love? Mainly, she wanted to be a part of the X-Men team. Both her parents were part of them for years, she felt the need to follow along.

However, she knew her main purpose for coming to Xavier's, was to locate her missing family. She needed to establish a connection with Xavier and hopefully her fellow teammates would be able to help her (eventually). Right now, this is her doing her own intel on the information given to her by Xavier.

Etoile informed Xavier about her sudden leave from the mansion for awhile. She couldn't sit back and let her parents disappearance be placed on the back burner any longer. She felt confident enough to go out on her own in search for them. Her first stop? New Orleans.

Etoile didn't realize she would be facing some minor problems upon arriving in New Orleans, her father's past which equaled out to be a heap of danger. Etoile is suddenly faced with being attacked by the Thieves' and Assassins Guild after her...right now Etoile is trying to stay alive and survive her hellish visit to New Orleans. Etoile new about them, but to what extent? Not a lot, her father disliked talking about his past and did his best to keep his children out of it. Might have been the wrong idea currently, what he did was what any father would have done. Right now she is on the run...wounded and trying to escape on foot is not a smart idea. God, she could use some help right about now...

Definitely a mask. And a good one. Not so much being ok with it as having accepted the inevitable long enough ago to be able to deal. He'll never be ready for the place he sees in his dreams. The dreams... which are the real reason he always has the bottle, and wakes up with hangovers. They beat not sleeping.

"I don't think a normal life is possible. I help out the team, run my garage some days for a little cash on the side. Enough to cover my bad habits and road trips.

Bet you're wrong though. Bet there's plenty of guys who'd like to kiss you. You just don't know it."

If I were you, I'd do anything and everything to make it normal until I had go...there." she couldn't even say hell, it freaked her out."It would be nice to have it normal...come home to someone, share a live with..adventures. I picked a not so normal life and you were born into not so normal life." she turns her head to look at him.

"No. There isn't. He only kissed me because there was mistletoe. Besides...I recently found out he had a girlfriend. He was just being nice...in a weird way. I think guys find me to be weird and not all there. What I lack, I make up for it in missions or fighting. I know I'm good at something."

Etoile smiled lightly at his words. She only wished he could give himself those kind of reassuring words. It would be hard to even do that with someone such as a Rider living within him and that other guy, who apparently owns the rights to the Rider and Nick's soul.

She remained silent for a little, still holding onto his hand tightly. Almost fearing the fact he might be suddenly dragged of to hell. She feared for him, she felt the need to cry for him...without realizing she did exactly that. Tears streamed down her face, she tried to control the sobbing sounds, that wouldn't be happening.."S.."hiccuped in mid word." s-sorry."

Etoile squeezes her eyes shut as he kissed her forehead. She sniffled a little bit, wiping her eyes as best as possible."But it's not cool....you and I both know it. How can you be so strong and sure about it all?" she asked, still trying to stop herself from crying. It was true, things are fucked up all over. He probably isn't the only person suffering in their lives.

Etoile suddenly wrapped her arms around him, keeping him close for a bit. At least she could do is comfort him and show him there is more to then just being alone in the world...even if he doesn't agree with it or doesn't want it.

	Being teased is much need right now. Wearing too many clothes huh? Etoile thought about it for a moment. It finally hit her.."Hey! You want me..." she couldn't say the last part. "Indeed it does! 	Etoile felt her face flush up yet again. The idea of someone wanting her, kind of scared her."You have...not doubting you on that. I'm not....I'm not." "I suppose so, huh?" she replies."Breakfast does sound good as well. Right now...my stomach is winning. I mustn't ignore hungry pains!" she said. It's reassuring to know she hasn't disappointed him. She figured guys would find her disappointing in most areas as this.

"I think..you and I." she leans over to kiss him more thoroughly this time as she talks."Should get some..." she keeps kissing him, he had very addicting lips."..breakfast." she says.

"I'm glad I haven't disappointed you. You haven't either." she said with a bright grin.

	He returns the kisses, though at her declaration, there's a few moments of meditating on cold showers. Very cold showers. But he's good to his word, and not pressing past that. "You got it. Little did Etoile know that she is causing some serious problems for poor Nick. Still absent minded on all things sexual. It's like watching a cute fluffy bunny on the discovery channel.

"Really? Well, that's good to know!" she replies. Etoile nods her head, moving off the bed to stretch a little and slipping on her shoes quickly.

"I think I'm in the mood for pancakes..."

	She maybe slow at times...she noticed something is off in his tone of voice. Etoile leans over to poke him lightly on his stomach."Are you forcing yourself to do what I want?" she asks bluntly. Etoile pauses mid-step at his response. She felt her face flush up for the millionth time. Who knew the had such patience and resistance in him!

Etoile quickly rushes over to him. From behind she wraps her arms around him."I promise, I'll reward you for doing this for me. I can only imagine it's taking a lot of will power." She says with a smile on her face.

Before letting go she lightly places a kiss behind his ear.

He puts one arm around her in turn, setting one hand firmly on her ass. Willpower, yes. Keeping the demon in check takes that - but hey, he can have his fun and keep making her blush too, at least.

"Not a problem, and you don't need to feel like you owe me anything. I promised you breakfast and a ride home, that's all. I'm enjoying the company... and the view, in the meanwhile."
