The Battle of Olympus
The trail eventually led the Avengers, Future Foundation and the Defenders to the other dimensional realm that served as the home of the Greek gods. They traveled to a few realms that were home to other gods only to find them destroyed and in ruins. Olympus wasn't in ruins, but it was under attack. Battle raged all around and the skies thundered and were lit up by lightning bolts.

	Halbjorn, amidst plenty of blood for his efforts, drags the spear out of his wound, opening it further. Wielding the spear in one hand, axe in the other, even if they're not really intended for that purpose - he grins savagely at the Celt, and charges again. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Manawydan stepped to the side with the spear and tried to wrest it from the Asgardian as soon as he was close enough and while trying to avoid that axe. He grabbed for the spear. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Halbjorn is happy to let him grab the spear, but doesn't let go of his end. As long as they're wrestling for it, its harder to get out of axe reach. While the axe is less wieldy in one hand, he still swings it about again. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Manawydan threw a punch to get the Asgardian to release the spear. The axe came in and caught him in the arm. The axe bit into his arm and blood started to flow. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The punch lands, snapping Halbjorn's head to one side. He turns back, letting the spear go, but closing the gap to try and respond to the punch with a headbutt, their slight height difference resulting in aiming his forehead at Manawydan's nose. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Manawaydan's nose broke and blood started gushing. He stepped back two steps to regroup and give himself some room to use his spear. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	That's the difference between them. Manawydan understands the value of tactical retreat. Halbjorn... occasionally needs Svalin to remind him what it means. A new wound opens as the spear strikes home again, but he's still coming, like a shark who smells blood. (Reply to this)(Parent)
