Vlad had always been the more wear-whatever-you-felt-comfortable-in type. Hell, he walked around the mansion in various states of partially dressed often, and just generally wasn't too concerned with what he wore. Still, that didn't mean he couldn't put in an effort.

Besides, it was Valentines day, definitely the day to show you cared and could put in the effort to be romantic. Well, he'd try at least, he wasn't sure if he could pull it off, but that remained to be seen.

So he'd left he'd left the traditional roses by her door in the morning with a card telling her to clear up her evening tonight and at what time he'd stop by her door. He'd managed to dress it up a little with a dress shirt and blazer (thank you mom for insisting he needed one in his closet) and arrived on time (give or take a minute) with a knock on her door.

	Cait loved the roses and immediately put them in a vase with water in her room. She spent a good two hours getting ready. Thankfully she had a few dresses to select from. No such thing as small or dignified smiles with him, when he smiled he did it full out even if it was on the edge of goofy, and this was no exception. "Hey, you look great." She really did, he wasn't just following the expected script. From behind his back he pulls out an assorted set (they actually did sell them in heart shaped containers) of Ferrero Rocher. Misha had the monopoly on Godiva and he had no plans on stepping on toes. "Chocolate?"

	"Thanks," she said with red coloring her cheeks. "You look very handsome," she said when she saw him. She lit up at the chocolate. "Perfect." He got a kiss. "I have something for you." "Thanks, and good, now maybe I'll look less out of place next to you," he smiled and returned the kiss he got for the chocolate which had distracted him momentarily but long enough that it took an extra moment to register she'd gotten him something to. Which he honestly didn't expect. "Oh?" He waited at her doorway while she went in to grab it. When he saw what it was he laughed and wrapped his arms around her to pull her into a thank you kiss. "You really are the best." Maybe he should draw something for her one day, he didn't like showing people his work much though, but hey, exceptions made the rule and all.
