Moving Meditation (Hal)
When Svalin needed to think she headed to the training room. Smashing and killing things, in a sense, helped her clear her mind. When she was fighting things she blocked everything else out and focused on the task in front of her.

Or something. But thou needeth more than family and duty to be at thy best."

He pauses, looking over the aftereffects of the battle. "Thy foes look like I had been fighting them, not thee. Thou needeth to find some relaxation."

"Mayhap," was all that she said. Svalin couldn't just set aside duties. She had been taught from an early age that duty to Asgard and her family, along with responsibility, were important. She had taken those lessons to heart and in recent years had seen what happened and what could happen if she didn't do her duty. The latter terrified her on a level she couldn't put into words.

"I wilt consider it," she said. She would consider things, Svalin wouldn't lie, but she was more likely to not act.

Halbjorn frowns. "And I told thee, twas not her idea, twas mine. She hast a duty as much as thou doth - to see to thine health and home, and the care of thy child. Thou didst choose to marry her - thou shouldst honor her duty. Thou needeth not see whom she wisheth thee to... but when she sayst thou'rt too grim and hidebound... then tis her job to see thee cared for.

Honor thine wife, as much as thou doth thine other duties... go out and do something to entertain thineself."

Coming from Halbjorn, he can only hope that the next words have some impact. Few are as tied to duty as he is, and he's always virtually worshipped his sister.

Even when they were kids and got caught doing something they shouldn't had been doing, she never lied. She always told the truth and didn't do well when people accused her of lying. 	Svalin shook her head. "Nay. Mine wife wilt not appreciate such sparring each month." Sparring with her brother usually meant bruises, broken bones or worse and her wife did not look upon such well.
