Things of Nightmares
Svalin woke to find herself lying on the ground. She blinked. What had happened? The last thing she remembered was being attacked. She didn't see the attacker, but the world went black and she woke up here. Where was here?

Svalin pulled herself to her feet and looked around.

The world was desolate and had been destroyed at some point. Where in Hel was she and what had happened?

	He was both angry and annoyed at this nightmare trick. But unlike in his nightmare, he wasn't rooted to the spot and immobile. He drew one of his swords and waded into the part of the fray closest to Lady Vernique. He still had a duty to protect her after all. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The more they entangled themselves with his minions, the better Nightmare liked it. He was free to strike at their backs with their own fears. He used the minions to lead them around by the noses, getting them into position to strike at each other. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Svalin had returned to Asgard. Nightmare had flooded the streets of LA with nightmarish creatures and the Defenders and Avengers had to concentrate on defeating Nightmare. She'd make sure they'd be able to.

A host of Asgardians appeared not far from where the Avengers and Defenders were battling Nightmare.

"Asgardians!" she yelled. "Forward! For Asgard!" The Asgardians charged toward the mass of creatures.

Now the Avengers and Defenders could concentrate on Nightmare.

	Kael had been barreling through any creatures foolish enough to stand between him and Nightmare. Suddenly the demons shifted in form to become the faces of his kin. They spewed hateful insults and threats, promises to dog him through the rest of his life. He just stood there, trying to banish the images from his mind..but it was slow going. 	With his minions fighting Asgardian horde, Nightmare knew he couldn't hold out against his main targets. They were closing in on him too fast. He looked for an escape. Better to get out now and return another time when they weren't so organized. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
