All Hallow's Eve (Alpha Flight)
The town of Bay Roberts, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada had a population that was close to 5500. It wasn’t a big town in terms of towns, but it had a long history and was in a good location. It sat in Conception Bay protected from the harsh winter storms and not far from St. Johns the capital of the island allowing the town to be a hub for transportation and distribution for the island.

It was Halloween and the residents were celebrating. The children were dressed up and trick-or-treating and some adults were dressed up as well. Some adults dressed up as things from pop culture and some a ghoulish fiends. It was a night of fun for everyone.

Along the shore in the bay a more sinister thing was happening. Dark misshapen figures crawled out of the water and crawled ashore. These were creatures of nightmares and they weren’t costumes. The Deviants, with a few priests, started walking toward the town.

	Jordan is still trying to figure this out at all. He nods towards Alex, pulling himself to the top of a higher point. "Folks, we're with Alpha Flight. 	Between Jordan's announcement and Mel's influence, the people started to calm down. Some were injured and others were just plain confused. They looked at Jordan. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Ok, folks, we've got work to do. Marrina, I believe some kinds of jellyfish and fish species have poisons that could be used to numb pain without causing much other harm, other than maybe temporary loss of feeling. Correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm not, see what you can do for the injured. Anyone else with medical training, get to work. I'm going to help clear the destruction and make a way for ambulance crews." he orders the Flighters, then speaks up again.

"Anyone who isn't injured, or just has some scratches, please either move over to the right there and take it easy. The police will want your statements. Please stay calm and try and recollect everything you can. Those with minor injuries, to the left and wait there. Medical attention will be here when we've dealt with more serious problems. Anyone with medical training, please assist with the more serious injuries. Please do not move anyone until the paramedics arrive, unless they fell somewhere putting them in immediate physical danger. I need five able bodied volunteers to come with me and help clear a path for the paramedics, five more to help with crowd control. And anyone who is willing, if you could please take up a collection and get everyone some coffee or tea. Its going to be a cold night, and everyone's nerves could use it. Thank you for your assistance."

Mel stays in the ground a little longer, keeping the calm flowing into the environment for as long as it seems necessary, and trying to get a sense of any dangerous damage to the roads to tell Jordan about as she finally comes out. She run up to him and whispers any significant but less-than-obvious troubles the emergency vehicles might be running into -- it was certainly all too big for her to shift any positioning herself -- then scutters off to help with basic first aid.

As soon as people were taking up volunteer roles - when you need to give people something else to think about, give them something to do - Jordan headed for the road to conduct emergency super strength repairs while his teammates saw to the damage.

"Emily, can you put up some kind of magic alarms? Need to make sure those things stay away, or we get notice if they make another run at us."
