Mardi Gras! (Post Tryk Plot)
It had been over a month since the Tryk's had invaded Seattle, and since Dolemeck found himself badly injured. He also found himself remorseful for his own actions in regards to friendships and team mates. He apologized to Tyler for what he felt was an abuse in their friendship. He had used him more like a crutch, instead of treating him like a true friend. His naivete and annoying actions were all an act. All because he was scared to be himself, or be rejected by the world.

It was such a hard lesson to learn, but a valuable. He and Tyler were on good terms, but Dolemeck opted to give his friend some much needed space and breathing room. He continued to pay for the apartment they shared, but took time to stay in New Orleans for a bit. He also wanted to give Argo a proper apology as well, as he felt he never treated his friend right.

He booked his regular hotel room at one of the more expensive hotels in the Quarter, and waited for Argo to knock on the door. He had a cup of tea in one hand, and a book in the other. He was reading up on what Mardi Gras was, trying to inform himself on the local custom and where to go during the time the event was in town.

	Argo stepped out first, then pulled Dolemeck on to his shoulders. It was still early enough that not many people were out. He understood, vaguely, something about the day after the end of Mardi Gras to be more quiet and contemplative, something religious, but he wasn't terribly sure of the details. "Hmm. "Well, if I was one, I would be somewhere easy to access. You cannot bring a wheelchair anywhere... as it cannot go up stairs." He blinked, as Argo had picked him up and placed him on his shoulders. He gave out a childish laugh at this, still finding joy with being with his friend.

"Perhaps it is somewhere with a flat surface? If we cannot find it, I can call up the Atlas foundation and have a new one brought to me. Though I imagine my Mum and Da might question how I lost it. I will simply tell them I had an adventure and the time of my life... and that is all that should matter!"

	"I asked for a simple chair, nothing too grand or even motorized. I wanted to get about on my own, without any help. Plus wheeling myself about is good exercise for my arms!" He tried to look down at Argo's face. "I know they worry for me, but they trust me enough to not put a tracking device on me. I am a grown man, I just was not acting like it, my friend." 	"I have no clue where we last where." he admitted. Just as Dole was going to say something else, he saw his chair in the distance, full of Mardi Gras beads. 	"I am afraid to ask... but I must. What did I do last eve?" Once they were close enough, Dolemeck shadowported himself into his wheelchair, clearing it off of the various items. Instead of looking shocked or panicked, or even embarrassed... he laughed. He laughed quite hard, to the point he was holding his sides. It took Dolemeck sometime before he could even speak to Argo over what he just learned.

"I am surprised I did not sub-come to alcohol poisoning!" He smiled, showing all of his teeth. "I doubt I got fully naked, though. I would not be able to get my pants back on without help if I were so drunk! But if it happened, it happened! And sounds as though it was quite the time!"

	"He may be upset that I am not as nervous or scared of my own shadow anymore." He shrugged his shoulders. "Like you, it will take him some time to adjust. "Argo, what is past is past. I do not blame you for not trying to belay Phil's actions." He smiled, finally wheeling himself about once more. "I sort of put up with them because well... Err... Phil is kind of attractive to me."

Well, that took a lot for him to say. He sighed in some relief once it came out, even slumping a little in his chair.

"Well, now I feel much better that I have gotten that out! Though I think Venus, the Goddess, would smite me for such feelings." he chuckled.

	"Good that Venus may smite me?" He laughed, almost as loud as Argo could at times. "Well, could be worse ways to go, I suppose!" He let out a long yawn. 	"Wonderful! Then I shall make... arrangements to... Zzzzzz..." He was out of energy. Before Argo knew it, Dolemeck had stopped wheeling himself and was just asleep in his chair. The little demon partied too hard, perhaps. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
