Twisted Homecoming (for BH6)
Amiko, well wrapped in a flight suit, waited patiently as her brother carried her to the landing point near the Yashida compound.

They'd been paired together for a little while, handling various ... errands. It was good to work with him. Even if they were seeing a lot clearer now, as if a lot of clutter had been removed from their minds, they were still family.

Which led her thoughts to the ostensible mission here: to go after the sword Amiko had previously claimed 'on behalf of the sane side of the Clan.' And apparently, she'd been Confused at the time as to which side that was. Their obvious mission was to rectify that.

But so far, they were not being obvious. They were good at that.

"They'll know we're coming," Amiko reminds him. "They're not so lost and stumbling they won't have been able to find out a few things, and suspect what we obviously want. Just not direction or precise timing. And please keep Hajime off of me, Misha. I'm not concerned about the others. They'll hesitate, for old time's sake." Old times were hazy and vague in her head, but not so much so that she couldn't exploit them.

Keiji had been confined to quarters since shortly after discovering Amiko's kidnapping. Well..it hadn't really been made official until Keiji put several government bodyguards in the hospital after receiving the order from the Ministry official. Fortunately for him they hadn't thrown him in prison, they considered him too useful. Still, Keiji was forbidden to leave BH6 headquarters..which meant the training area had been devastated several times over in frustration.

	Grogg was busy in his little cubicle trying to answer some of his fan-mail, plugging away at an oversized type-writer. It helped to distract him. He had been distraught since Missy Kobayashi had gone missing. Each key was pressed with great care, as he had take time to remember how to spell each word. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Hajime is off-base. Since the disappearance, BH6 has been occasionally asked to help keep an eye on vulnerable points around the nation. While some people remain at base, on call, or are under suspicion, others are on more regular patrol. In Hajime's case, he's near the Imperial Palace, since its one of the spots he's most familiar with and the value as a target is obvious.

I'm /hoping/ we don't have to wait embarrassingly long. With all that's happened, they've got to have someone keeping an eye on my Distinguished Cousins and my Even More Distinguished Cousins." 	Alarms will go off in various places, near and far. The automated security systems come first. Little turrets of lasers and guns. Amiko dodges the shots calmly. Her boyfriend's issues with her family, which used to upset her so much, don't bother Amiko. The destruction of clan sacred ground doesn't bother her. She's too busy thinking clearly. 	Kayura had been on patrol. She had been taking out her frustrations on any monsters who did not respond to polite diplomacy lately. Amiko being kidnapped had greatly upset the younger woman. She hated feeling helpless. When she hears the alarm he spirits go up. She puts in an alert to the team. "It's the shrine. Everyone get there as soon as possible." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The shrine was a place of peace, and reflection. Somewhere to look inwards, even while contemplating the vastness of the world. It suited Clockwork perfectly.

So it is with some degree of anguish and aggravation resembling rage that the living construct bursts free from underneath the section of wall that had landed on it. Plant-life in the surrounding courtyard already responding to his readiness for battle.

	"..Amiko?" He had just barely heard her coming. He'd forgotten how quiet she could be. He moved slightly, instinctively hardening his bones, but she still managed to cut him. He spun on his feet to face her. He held his neck, thankfully the wond wasn't substantial. "I feared something like this may happen..that's Misha firing on us, isn't it?" (Reply to this)(Parent)
