Scavengers
There's a sound of breaking glass as a body comes flying out the front window of a butcher shop, shots following it. Someone, or something, apparently wasn't expecting the owner to be there overnight. A large but lithe body bolts down the sidewalk and into an alley.

Kal decided to call the Avengers and they in turn could call SHIELD. She just had to make sure the things didn't go anywhere.

The creatures settle down, the larger ones reverting to feline form as they go unconscious.
