The First Day of the Rest Of My Life
Well, Mason Jeffries' first day as a superhero was off to a pretty good start. He'd already met a pretty girl and gotten his stuff dropped at his quarters. Now for a little looking around, see who else there is to meet, and hopefully track down his big brother Jordan.

Oh yeah. This was gonna be awesome. First day as a superhero and he's already set up for his first date.

	Mel smiles. "Thanks. I've got it under control." She'd apportioned out single-serving amounts of the cheese she'd shredded and garlic she'd minced, in case she happened to be alone in wanting some, but now she uses the whole bowls to start mixing them for baking. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Mason was just about to offer to help as well, when Mel turned down Alex. Instead, he busies himself learning the layout of the kitchen, fetching bowls for the three of them. He pauses as he gets to the silverware. "Alex? Do you have a preferred form to eat in?" He holds up a third utensil questioningly. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Did this kid not know any bounderies of what not to ask? Maybe Alex was a little touchy about how Mason called him kitty and then asked if he could hold Alex. 	Once mixed properly, the pasta didn't need long to just bake a little, and Mel and the oven did indeed know each other so well by this point. So in a mere handful of minutes, she's serving it up. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Mason bites his lip, feeling he may have stepped on some toes and puts out a spoon and a fork for each of the three of them, alongside the bowls. In his experience, eating macaroni with either a spoon or a fork is one of the great divides of people in life, so better to hedge the bets. He pulls out a chair for Mel, smiling as she serves them.
