It's been a while.
Back at the Institute again, clutching a slightly ragged bundle of daisies. Art was still at their place; he had business to take care of, but could handle it alone for now.

And there were some things Leech had to do. He knocked on the front door.

"School can be a bear. I can sympathize with him on the school thing. Hey, if it's what you want to do and you're happy to do it, then so be it. We all miss the two of you." Cait had known Artie and Leech since they were both tall. Now Cait was almost eye to eye with him.

Cait nodded. "I finished here and now finishing up a semester of college. I'm dropping out to go into the Coast Guard in January."

Cait nodded. "Much better than sitting around in a classroom. Though I know I will have to go back to school at some point. I will need something to fall back on if I can't do the Coast Guard thing."

"It's good to see you, Cait. I'd love to talk more later, after I go down for a bit." It isn't that he believed Mama and the girls were waiting on him. It was just something he needed to do.
