Mason straightened himself up and knocked on the door to Marrina's room. His First Date ever; hopefully it wouldn't be a total wreck. Jordie had given him pretty good advice after all, and he always seemed to do alright with the ladies back home.

	Mason nods. "My middle name's Roger, after Jordie's birth dad. He and my old man were best buds when they were in Alpha Flight. Mom said she was ready to name me after Mel's mom if I was a girl, because she and Dad both got along with her so well. Kinda weird, considering she kidnapped him the first time they met." Mason blinks. "That king who flies around in a speedo and used to beat up Reed Richards because he was jealous of his marriage? That's... interesti-- Oh my gosh!!" He exclaimed, before composing himself as people were staring.

He started grinning, even giggling slightly, before calming down and looking very pleased with himself. "This means I have a date with not just a pretty girl, but a princess." He smiles at her.

	"Cool. Kitchener's only about an hour or so from the Lake, so we'd go there a lot in the summer." He smiles at the bit about musicals. 	He shakes his head. "I caught the previews, but never got around to it. Helena Bonham Carter had a kinda cool freaky look going on. Johnny Depp..." Mason shrugs. "I had a really nice time tonight, and I'd like to do this again sometime if you're okay with that. And..."

Mason takes a breath and braces himself.

"I know this sort of thing is usually saved for dropping your date off at their house but since we live the same place right now and I'm pretty sure we have to deal with 'work' stuff when we get there and even though this kinda boldness is usually Jordie's thing, I mean he's a Quebecois and all so it's kinda expected..." He clears his throat. "Miss McKenzie, would it be overly forward if I wanted to give you a kiss goodnight?" A pause. "On the cheek." Quiet enough to give him a way to soften the impact if necessary, but also hopefully enough she could pretend to ignore it if she wanted.

	He takes a breath, then moves in, eyes only half open as he puckers his lips slightly. On the lips? No... go for the cheek. But... okay. He can do this. Kissing. Mouth goes on her mouth, or on her face somewhere. He can do this. He hovers next to her cheek for a moment, before bringing his face around again and giving her a soft chaste kiss on the lips. 	First date was way too soon to bother thinking about long term anyway. Mason's hip. He can roll with things. At least now he's got someone to go see Tim Burton movies with. He smiles and nods. "Cool. C'mon. Let's get back and find out what's going on with the new guy." (Reply to this)(Parent)
