New Years
The beginning of a New Year, a time for new hopes, new experiences to come. A time to reflect on times past, remembering fond memories happily and trying to put less pleasant thoughts and experiences in the past.

It is a time of renewal, a time of rebirth. And for much of the world, it is a time of celebration. This is no less true for the super hero set as anyone else. If anything, they just have that much bigger of things to look forward to.

	Vernique makes affirming noises to Sammy's statements as she finds and indicates a chair for Svalin. She gets out some hairpins -- she wouldn't leave her bedroom without them -- and once Svalin's hair is more properly within her reach, she gets to Arranging. Vernique continues to wrap and loop and pin carefully -- it isn't all that complicated an arrangement, but she's being a perfectionist -- until the braids are quite firmly in a rather elegant updo.

She hands Svalin her makeup case mirror. "What did I tell you? Regal."
