The Big Finale!
The brides were clad in white and lined up in front of the altar. A semi-circle of priests stood behind the brides and were chanting. The magic in the air became more powerful as the priests chanted. A small circle appeared in the air before the brides and started to get bigger.

Standing behind the priests was a large group of deviants. They were witnessing the rebirth of their god into the mortal realm. It was an honor and privilege to be witness to this historic moment.

While her focus is on delivering a frontal assault, the air shimmers behind her as Vincent drops his invisibility and lays a hand on her head. "Now now... wouldn't you rather just lay down and rest? So much work to fight us... so much trouble..." His voice resonates with ethereal energy, weaving the spell into her mind as he invokes the somatic components with his other hand, using the contact to hopefully intensify the effect.

The Deviant was one of the strongest foes Andrea had ever faced. Her power reserves had already dipped to eighty-percent and her steadily falling.

She split her processing power, devoting a concentrated portion to maintaining her force field, then devoted another portion to preparing an invisible weapon in case Vincent's method failed.

Tormburra paused for a second. Only a second, then the magic rolled off her with no more than a shiver as she swung one fist at the new attacker.

Vincent's eyes widen and he lets go of her immediately. He changes the gestures with his other hand as fast as he can manage, just as his palm meets her fist.

A fireball, although not a full-powered one, goes off. It's as much to help Vincent propel himself to a safe distance as it is to give Andrea an opening or do any damage.

Andrea knew the fireball would do little good. She remembered well from the files that Deviants were largely immune to fire. Instead, she formed a pair of hammers of invisible force, boxing the Deviant's ears.

This forced a roar of pain out of the deviant. The fireball went unnoticed as Tormburra struck out hard and fast repeatedly to get the female.

"Andrea!" Vincent pales as he seems the assault Andrea is undergoing, and something inside of him simply 'clicks'. Well, click is probably too neat a word. An impression of swords clashing and shields splintering is more like it, something instilled in his very blood.

It gives him the resolve to do something he would normally find a distasteful use of his powers.

Emotions and the senses have been his playthings ever since he could read and recite spells, and he connects with them more strongly than any other area of his spellcraft. More than that, thanks to his tutelage under Doom and his brother, he understands much of why his magics work. He rushes at the female again, this time making sure to make eye contact as he flings himself at her, trying to make physical contact again.

His voice would ring out to her perceptions, even though his lips do not move.

You feel pain.

He reaches straight for her mind, the way he would to invoke an illusion, reaching for the bits of her gray matter that would involve sight, then detours. He finds not sight, but touch.

For however much his magics can influence her brain, he turns the 'dial' for pain as far as he can.

Under the wild, hammer-like blow, Andrea was unable to maintain her force field. The blow struck her in the chest, just below her breasts, puncturing all the way through her body. She staggered backward, wires hanging loosely from the hole.

Her vision blurred, turned to static, but she saw Vincent doing... something...

With the weak magical command to feel pain, Tormburra does feel it, but not at the level the magician hoped to achieve. Most of the magic still rolled off her. Some didn't and she screamed in rage.

With the female...thing already falling, Tormburra turns to share the pain with the magician. With fists raised and ready to beat Vincent's face into the ground under her feet.

Vincent grits his teeth in frustration as the effect isn't nearly what he was hoping for. His form flickers, and he teleports behind her. Attacking her head-on is already proving fruitless. Time for tactics.

A blast of ice, not at her, but at the ground beneath her feet, followed by a well aimed kick to the side of the knees. Vincent may only be a half-Asgardian, but on an average day that still means he lifts ten tons. The bitch will pay for what she did to Andrea.

The bitch can lift twenty-five tons on a good day.

Not that it helped her now. The kick took her down thanks to the ice patch under her feet. She was back up and moving again with the full intention of turning the little bug into a big grease spot on the ground.

Sometimes it's knowing how to use your strength that makes the difference, rather than how much of it you have.

Think, Vincent. The shot to her joint still imbalanced her. They more than just look like humans, they've adapted the physiology, despite whatever resistances they still have. Exploit that. Kristoff made you all train for hours in unarmed combat drills, time to put it to work.

More ice, keep her off balance. Conjure a pair of light spells to at least distract her if not blind her. Above all KEEP YOUR DISTANCE until you're ready to strike.

Andrea's attack to the ears had certainly hurt her. First point of attack. left ear, she seems to favor that side.
She's making enough noise that her jaw must work similarly as well. Second point of attack, temporomandibular joint.
Musculature is too strong to try to knock the wind out of her abdomen, nerve cluster under the arm. She'll expose it when she makes those large swinging punches. Third point of attack.

Optimal result of weakening, nausea, vomiting, possible arterial damage, numb/disabled arm, slight risk of death by shock if untreated within 24 hours; all by human standards. Let's see how much damage the 'little bug' can do with precision, as opposed to going berserk, to the Deviant.

Vincent flares the lights brighter, and moves in, initiating the sequence with an open-palmed strike to the ear.

Structural integrity compromised. Damage assessment pending. Power levels at 64.75%. Self repair systems initiated.

Andrea targeted the Deviant with another barrage of force spheres.

The female thing injured didn't do anything for Tormburra's healing magic. She had to damage the ugly bug. He had flesh and blood, and her magic would suck up all his agony to heal her injuries. He wasn't an Eternal but she would enjoy breaking into little tiny pieces anyway.

She saw him move, and then she was hit from behind again. The strikes and still slick ground under her feet forced her into a fall onto the ugly bug.

Vincent gasps as no sooner is he making his strike, but the plan falls apart, the Deviant toppling forwards. Having teleported too much in quick succession, he tries scrambling backwards as fast as possible, but slips on his own ice.

His back hits the ground, and he hastily throws up a defensive shield, hoping to buffet his opponent away.

Andrea got to her feet slowly, her internal gyroscopic circuits trying to compensate for the damage done to her. Her power levels had dropped further, the wires hanging loosely were sparking.

She had to stop the Deviant... had to save Vincent.

The shield went up just in time to catch the brunt of her blows. The blows kept coming hard against the shield just as they'd done against Andrea's.

As Andrea stumbles towards him still damaged, Vincent snaps, giving way to the rage that's been building up in him since Cassandra, one of his family, got taken away.

"ENOUGH!"

The force field contracts to a point, even as his mind is still ringing from the blows it received, and then slams it forward. He's not as refined in the use of this method as Susan or Andrea, but he's doing his damndest. Right now he wants nothing more but for Andrea to be safe and for this thing to hurt.

He may be a sorcerer, and a half-blood, but he is of ASGARD. The blood pounding in his hears spurs him on, pushing the intensity of his spell. He goes even further, throwing himself at the Deviant, a lightning spell in each hand, and hammering his fists against her.

She should have thought of this sooner. Andrea created a force bubble around the Deviant woman's head, effectively cutting off her oxygen.

Deviants can survive underwater, without air. The force bubble only kept her face and neck from being injured by the other's force field. Magic fueled by rage hurt, but not to the point Tormburra was incapacitated. She continued to fight back, to cause as much pain as she could. With every bit of pain she could make him feel, she healed that much herself.

Vincent's getting lost in his rage at this point, dodging what he can, but more concerned about inflicting as much pain as he can, as his wounds heal nearly as quickly as they're incurred.

"You think you can stop us?! You think you can take from us without retribution?! I say thee nay!" The Asgardian flares up in his speech pattern as he moves in to meet her latest swing. He feels a rib crack as he grits his teeth and sneers, grabbing her arm tight with both of his own. "You're mine." He shouts out the words of power for a teleportation.

Blinking out of existence, Vincent reappeared far above, expecting to hurl the Deviant away from him and hopefully to catch her in a two-pronged assault between him and Andrea's attacks, only to find that his hands were now covered in blood.

The Deviant's magic resistance had seen that not all of her went with him.

It was easily one of the most ghastly sights Andrea had seen. On the other hand, her power levels, drained by her last few force field tricks, had dropped to 35%.

The cave moisture was also beginning to negatively affect her systems. She would be a tempting target right now...

The progress in healing was completely wiped out with the loss of her arm from the elbow down. Blood spurted from the open wound. She had to get to stopped now.

The only thing close by to rip apart the nonhuman female. Tormburra attacked with a renewed viciousness.

Andrea was totally unprepared for quite so vicious an assault, especially in light of both her own injuries and the Deviant's own. She let out a scream, while quickly faded into a mechanical squeal as her head was separated from her body, which was rather in several pieces of its own by that point.

"ANDREA!" Vincent howls, hurtling towards her head and catching it before it hits ground, distancing himself from the Deviant. "Andrea? Speak to me! Can you initiate preservation of yourself? Andrea! Tell me what to do to save you!"

Any concerns with the fight are gone, for now.

But if Andrea is truly gone already... this will be a very dark day for the Deviants. Vincent Von Doom Amorason will certainly see to that.
