Another Knight
Crime doesn't sleep in Gotham City.

Since donning the cowl of Batman over a month and a half ago, Terry McGinnis has learned this quickly. He's learned a lot of things quickly. He's had to. In Gotham, crime doesn't slow down just because it's defender is new to the game.

And for about that month and a half, other than finding a way to juggle his personal life as Terry and his moonlighting at Batman, he's been on the prowl, looking to crack a drug-dealing ring that's been going out of Gotham since before he stepped into the Bat-suit.

The dealers have been quick, covering up their tracks, moving just when Terry got a lead on their location. Always one step ahead of him. Deliveries to other cities handled in broad daylight, under 'business shipments'. Broad daylight, when the Batman didn't prowl the cities, striking fear into the hearts of criminals and delivering justice.

Last night though, someone slipped up. Last night, someone told Batman where he could find the mastermind behind the drug-smuggling ring. Carlo Falcone. The mob's up-and-coming star. Of course it had to be the mob. This didn't shock Terry in the slightest. The Jokerz didn't have the brain power or the organizational skills to pull off something this big.

And Terry's poised over where his "informant" told him that he could find Falcone and his goons. Gotham pier. Third warehouse down.

He watches from the rooftops, waiting to strike.

Carlo Falcone couldn't be more pleased with himself. He's raking in quite the cash flow from this little drug ring that he has going on. Enough to get him the right allies...and secure his rightful place as Crime Lord of Gotham.

And the Bat has no idea. He's always one step ahead of him.

Yes, he's pleased with himself.

"Be careful with those!" he barks to one his lackeys who carries a crate full teddy bears stuffed with the hallucinogens, "Those are worth more than your life!"

He stands back, arms crossed over his shoulder. This next shipment's due to Coast City, and he sure as hell doesn't want to disapoint his costumers...as they keep his pocket full.

	The uniform's bullet-proof, thankfully. Terry acts quickly, pulling out a couple of 'rangs, tossing them at the gunmen. He's still outnumbered....Falcone came prepared for him. Flipping, he throws a punch one man, than uses him to shove at the other man currently charging at him. (Reply to this)(Parent)

Drug dealing in Keystone. It was out of the ordinary. Well...out of the ordinary enough to attract the attention of one Kid Flash.

At first, Jai decided that he was going to go solo on this one. He could handle drug dealers, no sweat. But then he found out that there was more of them...in Gotham City.

Yeah, he was going to need a little back-up on this one.

"That's it," he says, turning to the group that had answered his call that he had put out on the comm earlier, "I say we go in on three...really surprise them."

Clearly, Kid Flash has no idea that someone's already handling the situation....

Jai returns the smirk. "What are we waiting for then? Three, two, one...GO!" he declares, sprinting into the warehouse, throwing the doors open.

And then...Kid Flash stops. Was that...some guy in a bat-suit? He was pretty sure that his dad said that Batman retired about ten years ago....

He shakes it off, as he has a thug coming at him, throwing a punch at said thug.

	Corinna moves quickly. Her leg doesn't hurt today so she is flying through the air with a kick knocking a gun out of a thugs hands. he kicks it away and then strikes him with enough force to knock him out. Jon swoops in just in time to get in the way of a hail of gunfire. No problems there, and it shields the others well enough.

"This drug ring has gone a lot further than your city. At least three of us have traced major drug problems in our cities back to here, so we're putting a stop to it."

Whoever this is, and whatever legacy of the Bat he may or may not legitimately carry, some things in super hero relations never change.

"Whatever," Batman says, jumping over an overturned table.

Seeing Falcone make a run for it, a Batarang is pulled. "Like hell." He tosses it, watching it expand and wrap around his knees, tripping him. A punch is delivered to Falcone's face, knocking him out cold.

He then turns to the ragtag team in front of him. And Batman does not look happy at all, even though all Falcone's men are either out cold or have turned tail and run at this point.

	Corinna let one eye brow go up. The son of Superman spoke wisely. She would not step in with words of her own right now. Let him be the diplomat. Not quite all of Falcone's men are gone just yet. There's one hiding in a speedboat, scared, and holding a crate of teddy bears. He peers at the young heroes, sees that they're occupied, and starts the engine. In just a few seconds, the boat is quickly cutting through the water.

Falcone's underling thinks he's homefree. He looks back to see the pier getting further and further away. And then, he hears a thump on the front of the boat. He turns and looks to see a man with long blond hair, orange armor, and a drawn sword crouching in front of him. The man smiles and konks him on the head with the hilt of his sword, and the henchmen in knocked out.

A.J. drives the speedboat back to the pier and sees the young heroes gathered there, with many other henchmen bound or knocked out.

"Oh, it's you kids. So, what the hell's going on here?"
