They could have swam it, but Canada (and Alberta in particular), was quite the distance away from Atlantis. And frankly, what was the point of being a Princess if you couldn't ride in style every now and then? So the daughters of Namor were being taken home (or to the shore, at least), in an Atlantean Royal transport.

It was luxurious, if slightly military, but comfortable to say the least. Marrina sat on one of the couches, idly munching on candied sea urchins. Her father had introduced them to her on one of her last visits.

Her sister. She was bringing a sister home. There were probably going to be all kinds of diplomatic issues involved (especially once Emma Frost found out), but she would do everything she could to keep her sister safe.

"So..." she ventured. "You told me a little about you. Only fair if I talk too. Anything in particular you want to know?"

Kassia hadn't expected anything quite like this. She'd never expected anything official from her father and yet here she was sitting on a couch in a Royal transport complete with guards just across from a blue-haired young woman who was not only her sister but an actual princess and her sovereign.

"I don't even know where to start...or even how to address you. What do you feel comfortable telling me?"

Marrina looked over to the one guard who had remained in the room. In her best, imperious tone, she said. "Leave us. My guest and I wish to be alone."

"As you wish, your highness."

Once they were alone, she let out a puff of air. "Make it Marrina, please," she told Kassia. "Princess, your highness, save that stuff for when there's people around who might actually care about it."

She went on. "But really, I'm comfortable with just about anything."

	"Okay. Marrina it is. Dad made it a point to remind me several times that I have to respect you as I would him and that I have to behave. I'll do my best." "I'm sure you will," she assured her.

"Only a few months ago, back in January. He and Namora and Namorita had all been captured by Draconia, the daughter of one of his enemies, Warlord Krang. The Fantastic Four got involved first but, well, we--that is, Alpha Flight--had to ride to their rescue. Me and Alex, one of my teammates, ended up rescuing them and he laid the smack down on her."

She remembered the moment well. "I'd heard stories about him, seen news footage, but nothing could have prepared me for seeing him in person like that."

	Her dark eyes went wide at the thought of Namor enraged like that. She hadn't realized just quite how strong their bond was already becoming. "I do," she replied. "He's trying really hard to make up for lost time." She giggled at one particular thought. "Last time I was here, he gave me a giant sea-horse to ride." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"No fair! He told me I had to wait until I'm older for my Kraken! I'm gonna name him Charlie. I'm scared of sea-horses. Always have been."

She wondered if Namor was going to try to make up for things with her, if they'd bond again as they had when she was a child. For a moment, Kassia struggled with a slight feeling of fear, the fear of possibly being unwanted.

"Why didn't your Mom tell him about you when you were little?"
