Looking for a Friend
Mikel didn't want too much time passing between visits to little sister, but at the same time he didn't want to make too much contact. She'd get more suspicious. All Furys carried the suspicious gene and it was best not to trip little sister's too much. That could bring the old man down on his heels and that was the last thing he wanted.

Mikel had Leo cross her path and it had gone reasonably well, but it was now time for Sammy to see another face and get familiar with them. Therese Jackson, Virgo, would now be his girlfriend as far as his sister was concerned and with any luck become one of her friends. Mikel wanted to get into her head more and what better way to do it than through another girl. Girls talked to each other, he had seen this with Virgo, Libra, Pices and Capricorn. Aquarius...not so much. Out of the four, Virgo was the best one to pose as a girlfriend.

He sent a text to his sister.

I'm in town. Dinner? Indian? Bombay Talkie 189 Ninth Ave. 7pm? Bring a friend.

"Say it like that and it sounds like a bad thing." She paused looking around the restaurant long enough to shoot him a grin. "He said bring a friend, and I'd kinda like somebody on my side of this for a change. I'll apologize now for anything that might happen during dinner." If Qamar couldn't get away from her fast enough after this, she wouldn't blame him a bit.

Well, maybe a bit. The guy knew her life was on the weird side. But not more than that.

"You were the one that brought up HYDRA at the movie the other night." Yes, teasing! She didn't expect that! "All I know about Mikel is what I've read in his file, and while he's not Evil League of Evil material, the guy isn't up for sainthood. He and Dad haven't said a word to each other in my lifetime, probably longer. Dad won't tell me why."

Her smiles fades just a bit. "Mikel says he wants to get to know me, but I don't trust him. He doesn't know about...you know."

	Mikel arrived at the restaurant with Therese on his arm right on time. He took a deep breath and entered. He immediately spotted his sister and her friend already at a table. "Hello Sam," he said with a smile. "Therese this is Sam Fury, my sister. Sam, this is Therese." (Reply to this)(Thread)

	After a large meal and dessert, Mikel sat back in his chair and relaxed a bit. The interrogation had wound down once the food arrived. Once they started eating, they talked about movies, politics and topics normal people talked about. Though they were far from normal. (Reply to this)(Thread)
