Tech runs a hand over the vibranium-weave suit and runs the calculations over in his head again. If this works, the Special Ops team will actually be able to teleport from the Helicarrier to assigned targets and back. Between that and the new kinetic shield generators he'd finished perfecting, it would be very difficult to hurt his teammates.

All he had to know now was set a test run or five.

Walker's new shield tech was was ready as well and Jason was very proud of himself. A lot of the materials provided by Stark Industries really helped.

He went about reloading the new assault/sniper-rifle as he waited for Sammy to arrive.

Sammy showed up, smile in place and a swing to her step. She'd had a satisfying morning in the gym, then a cool down hour on the range, and finished it up with a hot shower and more coffee. Checking in with Tech was already on her afternoon schedule. Leave it to him to beat her to the summons.

"You asked to see me, Agent Landon?" she inquired with a hint of a smirk. For once, her eyes didn't go directly to the weapon he was working on.

Well...yes it did, but she managed to not make it her first topic of conversation.

"Hello, Agent Fury. Thank you for coming so quickly." he says, favoring her with a smile.

"I've managed to finish the refinements on a few items and they're not here for your perusal." Tech says.

"The GHOST suits are ready for testing. I believe I've eliminated the major kinks in the system and we can now attempt transportation of agents. Also, the kinetic deflection system is ready. Care to help me test it out?" he asks.

	"Simple. Blow me away." he says, flicking on the kinetic shield attached to his belt. "Landon-Tech Shield: Activated." A bluish light erupted into being, covering Jason from head to toe. "Take an gun you see on the table and shoot me. Center of mass first. I need to make sure the shieldin' holdin' up at the source, then you can aim for my noggin'." he says. 	Sammy blinked. It didn't seem like a come on, but then again, he was plying her with something to fire and a target. She picked it up and aimed for his midsection. Tech fell backward over his chair and onto the floor, end over end until he ended up on the floor. He'd been shot before, when he was a bit younger and he knew the sensation of a bullet; he didn't feel it now.

He did a visual check, just to be sure and found that he was okay. Granted, he felt like he'd been gut-punched, but the shielding held.

He gets up back up casually and dusts himself off, and resets his chair.

"Success! Okay. Now, my head. Tease." he grins.

	The shot bounced of Jason's temple and sent him crashing to the floor again, the shield rippling a bit. Once again, however, Jason got up. "Oh dear. I think I'm sufferin' from amnesia. He smiles brightly, leaning into her touch slightly.

"Yes. You helped me figure out exactly what needs calibration to perfect this shield and that the gun you used is perfect for field duty. I am more than all right." Tech tells her.

"Now, about these promises to fulfill my dark desires...I'd like to put that in writin'." Jason says, turning to get a pen and paper. He scribbles something down, then shows her.

	She couldn't help teasing him, he made it so easy. With her back to him, she put a dvd into the player, waiting patiently for the tray to slide out and then in again.
