Lucius sits up in his bed at Malfoy Manor, the sun streaming in through the window in the early morning. He hadn't been able to sleep last night, not with the anticipation of Narcissa's arrival today. He'd told her to Floo straight to his bedroom, so they wouldn't have to awkwardly speak to his parents. He'd prefer it if they could just spend time together. He'd never admit it, but ever since he'd left Hogwarts the previous year and she'd had to stay, he'd missed Narcissa, even if she was naggy and annoying and insufferable. For whatever reason, he loved her, and he hadn't seen her in at least a month, and that was just terrible. His job at the Ministry was really running him down, and he just wanted to see her for a little while.

He got up out of the bed and changed his clothing, getting ready for her arrival.

	She was so distracted by his kisses that when he made that comment, it barely registered. "It's a blue form," Narcissa said through a sigh, and then stopped breathing briefly. Looking back at him, she turned over on her back to look at him. "Really?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She couldn't breathe. She stared up at him, and breathlessly, she answered, "Yes." Then, she actually let out a breathy laugh and inhaled again. "Yes, of course I will, you idiot." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She kissed him back, leaning up to make each one last just a little bit longer, a little more lingering. "I love you too," Narcissa whispered. "I didn't know you felt that way -- I've loved you for so long." 	She rolled her eyes as he bragged about himself, even if she could agree with him on some level. "Stupid. Binns won't stop talking, Slughorn wants in every girl's skirt, and Dumbledore keeps asking me how I'm doing. It's bloody annoying." 	She made a little noise of complaint at his pinch and retaliated by sighing, "Oh, Lucy." "He was very Hufflepuffy-turned-wannabe-Slytherin. It was too weird for me to handle. 	Lucius didn't mind her rambling. He really liked it, in fact, since he liked to hear her speak. It was comforting, which was something he didn't really want to think about all that much.
