	I think he would do what all protective fathers would do. He definitely be a nervous wreck and threaten the guy that if he did anything stupid; he'd come after him. Plus he would tell Delia what to do and not to do. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Jack, as he's gotten older, strives to do things as simple as possible and to do things in order. He has a routine (usually) and tries to stay by it. Politics and history has been embedded into his life - hes a natural learner and explorer like many navy officers. He isn't anal like he was as a child. I think the way he was brought made him realize that it was not the best way since his father was barely around and preplan his future. With his daughter, he's easy going and let's her do what she wants. Not letting her follow the family footsteps.

He spends a lot of time researching and understanding the world of art (his main character is in the world of art and etc); so jack spends a lot of time researching art crimes, art history, character development and usually he gets an idea through that. Then he creates deadlines for himself; it usually takes him a month to two months of writing the novel and then he does drafts and bs.
