It's been a couple of weeks. Tess has been impressed by how quickly Steven's adjusted. Still, idle hands...

Tess's came through the communication system to Steven. "Flash? Gym, please. Now."

	He considers the course. "I set the conditions for the chess match. And made our current deal. I think, being fair, its your turn... if I get it within 11-13 seconds, nothing happens... you name a condition if I take more than 13 seconds... and I'll go by that to figure one out if I get it in less than 11?" He grins. "Just as we are? If its that meaningful to you, you could probably talk me into that anyway. Actually, throw in watching Star Wars with me, so I can see what all the hype was really about... as we are... I'll do that one with you anyway.... if you'd like to go with that, and choose an additional victory condition?"

Yes, he's very agreeable. He likes 'as they are'. She if she isn't blushing when she says it, its probably not challenging enough.

He's not the shy type, having really spent most of his existence clothed in speed... and he admires her form, so he figures he has nothing to lose with the movies, even if he might occasionally be hard pressed to pay attention to the screen.

"If you wear the corresponding female costume to whatever you pick, you entirely have a deal."
Because that's just fun... and this way, he doesn't need to know pop culture to pick out a costume if he loses. Besides, he's almost positive she'd go for something classical, rather than raw humiliating, just to see someone do it.

Which gives him an idea. "And if I beat the obstacle course in less than 11 seconds... I then need to do it a second time, in the same state of dress, but you need to do it with me, we'll both do it at your best speed... AND, since you get something out of that too... additionally, you pick out my Halloween costume, anything you want... but you have to wear the corresponding female character costume... but you have to do it wearing nothing under the costume. Only the two of us would know."

He figured that she could follow it. He's given her the chance to raise the stakes as she likes - and she gave him a set up. He's just seeing where she'll go with this.

Regardless, he's going to get very familiar with seeing a lot of her, literally and figuratively.

"So out of curiosity... what are we going as for Halloween, since we're doing the same thing either way, and I should get familiar with it. And is the obstacle course ready? Oh, and when you answer those two questions, I have one more question for you."

He nods to the explanation. Greek goddess... with nothing under the toga. Now that's a prize worth vying for.

He's seen her set up - and amidst watching her bending over to pick things up or move things, leaning to shove stuff around, and otherwise put on a show - more and more getting the idea she has a definite exhibitionist streak... but then with a body like hers, he could see appreciating showing it off - he also has every item of the course in mind, and has been doing his best to remember everything in sequence, trying to see it as less a 'do this, then this', and more of a puzzle, 'in order to do this, you must do this, and this, and this.'

Small difference, but all the difference in the world to his mindset. Of course, she's very distracting, but still... he's done his best.

That, and he promised that he had one more question for her.

"Could you hold these for me?" he finishes, tossing his underwear at her after removing them in a flash, hitting the clock, maybe, just maybe giving her a gentle tap on the backside at the same time - posing slightly at the first obstacle to make up for it - and hitting the course running.

In for a penny, in for a pound.

She yelps... but she doesn't look angry, and is definitely watching... so... fair trade. As soon as he gets the first sequence right in less time than expected, he helps himself track the time delays and sequence by having a small ritual in between each set - moving so fast so as to dosappear, giving her a light, playful swat - to see if he can get her to turn around - if not, at the end of each one, within .002 seconds of the tap, he's back on the course, and posing for her - but if she turns around to acknowledge the 'timer taps', she'd miss it.

His own little 'fair trade', both to try and make the show, which otherwise might be mostly too fast for her to appreciate, more enjoyable for her, and see if he can either get more of those cute blushes (in either set of cheeks, to be honest), more squeaks (surely from someone else!) - or better yet, bring out more of her own impish side he keeps seeing flashes of, because its just fun.

With that timing ritual setting each apart, and treating obstacles like their own puzzles, he completes the second, climb and all, slides under the ropes, and then runs up the final wall before 'check in', and onto the next.

	She jumps slightly each time, but keeps her eyes on the course and enjoys the view. Eyes still where she wants them, she starts switftly walking to the end and demurely sitting, knees together, legs together and folded sideways, at the opening at the end he'll have to crawl through. Once she sits down, he no longer has the ritual to go by - unfortunate, but he has this feeling she'll get even. Without the ritual to complete, she also gets a little less of a show, as he gets more serious about the course.

He concentrates on the course, hitting the timing just barely on one - nearly a mistake that would have cost him.

Still, he avoids it, and zips down the tunnel... focused enough to make sure he crosses the line... which, when he looks up, places his face almost in her lap... the timer stops at 9.91 seconds... but for his part, he's remaining where he is, somewhat wide-eyed.

Yep, he was not expecting that.

There's a whole fraction of a second where he's in shock.

But then, in other lifetimes, he's been married, he's had different girlfriends... lots of possibilities. And much as those are sometimes ghost memories, its ~~like riding a bike~~... oops, bad way to look at it... but it comes back to him.

There's no way to do this without his chest brushing her breasts, and as he pushes up to his knees to make it more possible to be thorough, he needs to do something with his hands. One rests on her hip, the other settles on her thigh, and he kisses her back, deeply.

	He doesn't have to breathe, but he's in the habit. When the kiss breaks, he doesn't pull away. "Glad to see I'm not the only one full of surprises. Among other things I've been glad to see." he replies, with a slight waggle of his brows. "So just going for shock value... or is there going to be more of that, to go with the naked movies and all?" He nods. "I know that, obviously, this isn't a long term anything yet. But I also know you think on all the scenarios. And I wanted to make sure you're aware."

He perks up a bit again, with a hint of a sly grin though. "On the other hand, aside from the obvious advantage I'm germ free and all... I can, well, use the speed force to determine how much friction I do or do not generate."

He figures this may be of interest to that brain of hers.

Observant person that he is, Steven will be able to see the gears turning and the hint of flush in her cheeks as they hit key points.
