Football is over but there's a new sport back in town
He'd done it. He'd finally gotten tickets to a baseball game. It had taken some saving up, and some luck finding them online (and rather last minute) but he found them. And on the first game of the regular season too! He fully expected that the tickets he eventually got would be for some later date but the opportunity arose and he wasn't going to let it slip by. Birthday luck coming early, that's what he'd put it down to.

Grinning like an idiot and still excited over his luck, he managed to not stutter and ask Jess if she wanted to come to see Coast City's first home game of the season. The seats may not be great but that didn't matter really. Harry was certainly in a good mood.

	While they wait for the announcement to declare that the game will be continued or cancelled, Harry lets himself rest his head against hers on his shoulder and try to relax. 	If he knew what she was thinking? He'd blush far more. Luckily reading minds was not one of his powers. As the game goes on he relaxes until he's at his state before all the fighting broke out.He's secretly glad that it hadn't ruined everything. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Once the game is done Jess forgets her whole plan. She just nearly pounces him and kisses him without thinking about it. Then she pauses and.... turns a deep shade of green. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The game finishes and Harry turns to smile at her, "What did you thi-mmph!" He has no idea what brought this on but he's certainly taken by surprise. And barely has time for his brain to register that he should kiss back before she's pulled away and started...blushing? He thinks she's blushing but he can't really tell because he's smiling shyly while being a brilliant shade of red right about now.

	The blushing itself might not tell her if it was a good thing or not.But by the shy slightly flustered grin he has? It certainly was a good sign. He bites his lip for a moment, thinking what to do. He still had no idea what had elicited that kind of reaction but there was no complaint. And her looking that shy was...odd.

He'd managed to get tickets and ask her here and he'd even not run when everyone had broken out fighting. If he could do that, surely this would be nothing? Still blushing, he takes a deep breath to steel his nerves and leans in to gently kiss her.

	Now that blush is accompanied by a goofy grin. He's really quite pleased this has turned out so well, the mini riot had had him worried for a moment.
