Temporally Ambiguous Post-Formation conversation
Well, that had happened.

It was all very weird, scary, and exhausting. But it definitely just emphasized that the oommitment she'd made was for real. And worth it, what with more people being safer and all because she'd been able to help. And now they had a whole little Hero (or Heroine) Education thing going, apparently, and that was going to help a lot, and the people seemed nice.

She was there now, but nothing much was happening at the moment, so she was sitting outside on a rock, had her guitar out and was playing "Rainbow Connection."

"Yep, Mikal is famous for that," she smiles sweetly at him.

It was kind of funny how Clara made sure to specify it wasn't the murder that was sweet. "I liked that one too. Especially since they weren't all blood family because really, that stuff doesn't matter all that much. I didn't like Death on the Nile even though everyone raves about it for some reason and it's one of her famous ones. She made the murderers too obvious and the solution ridiculous." As she talks, Janie takes a cheerio and flings it at one of the ones Mikal is tossing up, to knock it away from his mouth.

	Clara nods emphatically on 'to heck with blood; they were family' part. That was just obvious. "Didn't read Death on the Nile, but I think I'll take your word." She's very impressed by both of their aim, then giggles at the commentary. "I guess it would." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Oh, he knows she's a sweetheart - he toned it down pretty quickly. Harpers and a little harmless flirting just go together. Or something.

"It seems I'll be working with these people. So I'll do my best to keep everything within reasonable levels of subtlety. Scout's honor." he replies, trying, fumbling a little, but mostly kind of pulling off one of those cub scoutish gestures of honor he'd seen here and there.

	Clara smiles brightly. Nervewracking emergency that started it aside, she was really liking this team thing. Neither Morgensterns nor hope worked well in a vacuum. "Well, I know your specialty is shooting things," she says good-naturedly. "But I'm sure you also have some sort of trouble-related skills to bring to the table, don't worry."
