Occupation and Performance at Occupation: She's the Hogwarts School of Witchraft and Wizardy's class of 1993. She's currently in training to become an Auror.

Brief History: Elaine Parker Lawson, called 'Lane' by friends, was muggleborn. Growing up, Lane was homeschooled due to the fact that strange things tended to happen around her and her parents didn't like all the bad attention she got. They had no idea that it was indeed magic until Lane recieved her acceptence letter to Hogwarts, and quickly became accustomed to this new way of life that their daughter would be living. She was sorted into the Ravenclaw house. Because of the previous five years of home tutoring with just her parents, she was quite introverted for the first few years, not used to being around so many other children.

When Lane was in the middle of her 4th year at Hogwarts, both of her parents were killed in a mass muggle massacre in London, organized by Deatheaters. Until this point, her youthful mind hadn't been concerned with the war since at the end of every year, she went back to a muggle world with her parents. With the death of her parents, Lane was sent to live with her maternal grandmother, who avidly encouraged her granddaughter to fight back for justice on behalf of her parents. She became very passionate about combat and warfare, pushing herself to excel in her studies. She gained the highest marks in Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts, and became a beater on her house quidditch team. After leaving Hogwarts, Lane has led a quiet life in the muggle world. Her goal of becoming an Auror kept getting pushed back for various reasons. She's finally gotten around to it, and she's currently undergoing the interview process for Ministry of Magic employment.

She only ever made a select few friends, most of them perishing before the end of Voldemort's reign. Lane was never much of a social girl and didn't date much during her Hogwarts years because she's always been a little confused as to her sexual orientation, but doesn't share that with anybody.

Goals: Once the war is over, Lane hopes to return to Hogwarts as a the charms professor after the current teacher retires the post.

Anything especially unique: She’s especially good at exploding snaps, and has extraordinary reflexes.
