Hogsmeade this weekend! I can't wait. I hope it snows soon! I need to do my Christmas shopping before its too late. According to my star charts, at the end of the week my luck is going to take a bad turn so I need to buy everything before Saturday! How stressful. Would anyone like to go with me? Parvati can't leave the dorm until eight tonight or she'll fail her next exam. Mars always seems to get in the way doesn't it. So I'll be going alone unless someone would like to come with! The more the merrier right?

And just for the record, has anyone else seen the way Ritchie and Romilda look at each other? I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure that's the "we do more than just hold hands" look. I mean honestly! Why don't they just get it over with hm? One of these days someone's going to catch them skivving class together.

Anyway, I've got to repaint my nails. If anyone wants to chat I'll be in the common room!

Oh! You saw Ursa Minor's ascension, too! See, I am a Pisces, so it doesn't change my luck, though it does warn of some bad night's sleep, so I am going to make sure that I have essence of murlap and lavender ready in a little sleeping potion. That, and it means that my Inner Eye might be a touch cloudy on Wednesday, but I am sure that Saturn's apex will clear that up and lead to some nice visions over the weekend, which is good because Professor Trelawney wants to read Tarot cards together, even though I don't know if I am in the mood to sit still, she is so lovely that I know I'll feel inspired when I see her. Have you read your Tarot yet? I wonder what the card would say if they could talk; I think the Five of Wands would have a lot of good things to say, given that I think it would taste like bubblegum cupcakes.

Maybe you can read with us! She's trying to teach me the inverted Celtic cross with a descending crescent, which is a tricky read due to the competing narratives off of the past reading, since that's the hinge? But oh! If you get it just right, the read on your direction when it comes to matters of fortune is so deep and meaningful, more so than any traditional inverted cross, though that isn't the preferred formation for love, but that's obvious why! Oh! The three of us could read together and maybe have biscuits afterward with some of her lovely rose tea, wouldn't that be perfect? And maybe she can tell us again about how she Saw the Lightning Struck Tower with her Tarot cards a year ago. I love that story!

I think that Death would also be a fascinating card, since it is so maligned even though I think it is the most brilliant card to have in your reads, I think it would want to be able to speak its piece. And then perhaps it would like a butterbeer and to be given a good time, perhaps it would like to catch a show at a Muggle cinema. I would imagine that Death would love sweet popcorn.
