I fucked up. She hates me. "Poor Bobby," he hung his head, honestly feeling sorry that he had abandoned him. He would need to talk to him. "So... do you want to..." abandon me, go dance with someone that deserves a dance with you, have fun, any of the above? He let his arm drop. "I guess I'll just... go... try to find him."

"I'll go this way," she suggested with a gesture of her thumb. She hoped it was clear enough that they were splitting up to search the dance floor and if she saw Sam again tonight she'd certainly chew his ass out.

"'Kay," he sighed trying not to sound disappointed... again. Fuck. "Give me the rabbit troupe call if you find him?" he asked forcing a smile. He wondered how they could go from having fun and dancing to having things be so messed up again.
