"Not much!." Sera replied quickly with a smile, without really thinking about her response. She was just glad Jenny was talking to her, even if she wasn't exactly sure what she even wanted to say.

"So how have things been?" Sera asked just trying to fill in the conversation. They hadn't talked since the last time they got together to watch Glee and even then they didn't do much talking, so catching up a little couldn't hurt.

"Oh, uhm.. good, y'know? Just classes and stuff, cheerleading captain try-out stuff with Ella, the usual," Jenny replied, smiling a little at her friend. She continued walking, motioning Sera to follow her as she did. "What about you?"

"The same mostly, classes, studying, debate club." Sera grinned looking over at Jenny, as they walked down the hall together. She had been keeping herself pretty busy that was all she could really do to keep herself from going crazy since the summer.

"So where you off to now?" Sera asked. "You must be pretty busy today, with pep rally, choir, and the big game?"

"Yeah, I'm pretty swamped," Jenny replied, smiling wanly at the other girl. "I've been trying not to think too much about it all. I don't know I'm gunna fit it all in.. I'm actually going to go and put on my uniform for the pep rally. We're going to try to see if we can encourage more people to try out with us this year. Even if we only get one person, it's somebody, right?"

"Oh really?" Sera smiled. "I'm sure you guys will find a taker or two." She offered kindly. She had even considered joining her own house squad once or twice but despite how much fun it looked she was always able to convince herself that there were much more productive things she could be doing with her time. Not that she'd ever say that to Jenny, she knew how important cheerleading was to the blond.

"You heading back to your room now? I could walk with you if you want I heading the same." She was hoping for at least a few minutes to talk to Jenny. She had something completely out there to ask her, whatever the answer it was something she felt she had to do.
