Michi smiled, she was pleased to hear that lovely voice ringing out behind her door. She got up and unlocked her door to let Addy in and promptly locked it back up once they were inside. "What's up baby?" she asked as she rummaged through her things to find the promised fifth and something to mix it with.
"Uuuuuuugh." Addy moved behind Michi to flop on her bed. She wasn't sure she could pinpoint just one thing right now. Leon had pissed off the entire school, and that meant she had to defend him (usually with her fists, because God knows she wasn't very good at doing it with words), and then he'd pissed her off by not coming to her aid when Anastas-fucking-Herpesface had insulted her. It was just... "Boys! Fuck them!"
"Ugh, I know what you mean," she grunted and pulled out the bottle from her secret stash. "They can all go fuck themselves. Or Stas," she laughed. "Whatever," she shrugged. "Another benefit to being bisexual. When one is pissing you off you can just go for the other," she teased already making the drinks.
Adelaide just rolled her eyes. Michi would come to her senses one day and make up her mind whether she was normal or going to hell for being a dyke. "Well, boys are pissing me off and I will not go fuck girls or Stas for that matter. I'm going to die a fucking nun." She put her hand out for a glass in what she suspected was Michi's direction.
"Get in line behind everyone else if you want to kick his ass." She pouted. "He has pissed off everyone this time." She rolled onto her side so she could drink, pulling a face as the bitter liquid slid down her throat. "And Stas was mean to me."
"Yeah, but Leon didn't defend me." Not that she really thought he would. More like she wished he would have. Instead, she got completely owned with big words she didn't even understand. "I thought we were getting better at this crappy relationship stuff."
"Boys are stupid," she shrugged. "Stas is definitely not getting a threesome now. No one is mean to my girl," she got up and sat on her bed near Addy. "Sometimes you just can't force a relationship Legs."
She downed the rest of the drink and set it on Michi's bedstand so she could roll onto her back. "I'm not forcing anything." And she really wasn't, actually. It's wasn't like she had told Leon that he should be her knight in shining armour when others spoke what was essentially the truth. But that was what hurt the most; that it was the truth. She was an awful person and nobody liked her. "More?"
"He should have stood up for you regardless Addy," Michi leaned forward and grabbed the rum and a can of coke. She made a drink for Addy and then drained her cup and made another drink for herself.
"You deserve someone who's at least going to side with you."
"Doesn't matter," she grunted, though clearly she was bothered by it. Hell, nobody liked her anyway, let alone enough to stand up for her. Why fuss? She sat up then, and stared into the cup a bit. She was about to say something about wishing she'd done some things differently, but that sounded so maudlin and... stupid.
She shrugged at Michi's assessment and downed the rest of her drink, much faster than she should have, while she thought about how to respond. "So it bothers me. Doesn't mean I can do anything about it. So whatever." And then she was on that again. "I put up with it 'cause I love him. And he loves me, and he's the only one who does, okay, so I'm not gonna get all hung up on it."
"Have you talked to him about it?" she asked sipping on her drink. Michi grabbed the bottle of rum and handed it over to Addy after taking a swig of it herself.
She nursed the bottle, but didn't really drink from it. "Dude, he won't care. He's a guy. All he cares about is getting me back into bed. I mean-- fuck! Nothing happened, okay, I was just there." Okay, now it was time to drink.
"Dude, no. I just said nothing happened. Just hanging out after homecoming... in his bed. The cat was there!" She added, as though that should be more than enough evidence that nothing untoward went on.
"You're lying to me Adelaide Legaux," Michi said skanking the bottle back for another swig and then handing it back. "You didn't tell me for like two whole weeks, what happened?"
She rubbed her neck nervously. How could she always tell? It's like she grew mom psychic powers when she had Zombi. "There... may have been some..." She paused, trying to gauge Michi's anger from her eyebrows. "Smoking."
Michi cocked an eyebrow. "Of course that little pot head was smoking, what's new?" she could tell by the way Adelaide was acting that something else had happened. "What did he convince my poor defenseless precious to do?"
"... you make it sound like I have no say in these things. Maybe I was all LET'S TOTALLY DO IT RIGHT NOW and he was like NO hmm?" She withered a little under Michi's skeptical glare. "I didn't do anything I didn't want to."
Michi frowned. "He wouldn't dare say no to you," she crossed her arms firmly. "So you're saying that you did do something because you just said you didn't do anything you didn't want to."
Addy frowned right back. "And if I didn't want to do anything, and didn't do anything I didn't want to do then I wouldn't have done anything anyway, would I?" She was starting to confuse herself. "Okay, fine. Some stuff was potentially done. But it was my idea, not his."
