He stared at her for a long moment, frowning deeply as he scrubbed the back of his head for a moment. He was an asshole, hell, even he knew that, was she really willing to have faith in him? He was skeptical when he looked at her.

"You have faith in me, I'll have faith in you. We'll make it simple like that, yeah?"

"We can try," she said adjusting the baby and offering him her hand to shake. "We'll only piss each other off if we keep questioning each others motives right?"{

"...Yeah. Guess we should." He was still grumpy, though. Even as he put the little box away and stared off for a moment or two. He took her hand, though, shaking it lightly as he sighed.

"Okay," she nodded firmly. "Well... I'll see you around," she waved to him and turned to walk back to the cafe, hopefully her coffee would still be there and her table still open.
