After dropping Sunny off at her dorm Friday night Anastas headed back to the party. He was nearly the last one to leave, pouring himself into his bed before dawn. He didn't wake until well after noon. It was close to two o'clock before he finished straightening out his room. There was no use inviting Sunny into a mess. He found something to wear that was still clean out of his fresh laundry basket and gave his room one last look before grabbing his phone.

"Sunny? I am awake and reasonably decent."

Summary: Distraught over her nomination to homecoming court AB appeals to Sunny and Bobby for help finding something to wear to the dance.


Abernathy was more than a little flustered about her nomination to the homecoming court. She hadn't sussed out who had nominated her yet, but when she did they'd be dead. It wasn't so much that she didn't want to go, but dances were complicated things. Everyone would be looking at what she was wearing, who she came with. Normally Abernathy didn't care about things like that, but whatever had changed with her and Sam over the summer had changed her a bit as well.

She begged Sunny and Bobby to help her find something nice to wear. She figured Sunny would prevent her from showing up in overalls and Bobby would give her an honest, masculine opinion on the matter. She'd been through three dresses already, but this was only their first stop of the afternoon.

As much as Abernathy wanted to think that she could quickly find a dress and call it done, this was going to take a while.

Leon flipped the mint case open for the eight hundredth time as he stared at the computer in front of him. JanJan's IM window was blinking again, but somehow he couldn't remember what he was trying to say anymore. He wasn't even sure he cared about what he'd been trying to say, either. Still, he managed to type 'sleep' before minimizing it and turning away.

"Fuckin' hell," he muttered, slouching in the chair as he stared up at the ceiling. His playlist flipped over to a new song, a vibrant dance beat bouncing about in his head as he stared. Maybe he should have asked what it was Sim passed him earlier, but as far as little pills went...Leon never cared to ask. And did it matter? No, no it didn't because as fucked up as this was...

It felt nice. Hell, he was almost giddy.

Turning around again he plucked his phone up from the desk and tapped out a text message to Gael, If you were blue, do you think anyone would say anything to you?

Wednesday afternoon classes ended with Stas in a mood. He needed a quick diversion and after realizing Sunny had left campus he decided on his old fall back.

Finding Emilie was a fairly easy task. She was usually studying, something that amused Stas to no end. He found her in the library buried in a pile of books. He leaned across the table stealthily, smirking as he draped himself over the top book. "Miss Devlin," he purred.

He couldn't wait to see what kind of reaction she'd have to him today.
