"I think... I don't know if you're friends with Mari, but I know she has some really good fashion sense. See if she's available? Other than that I'm not really sure..." And she wasn't. Maybe Meka? Or Sera? She would have to think.

"Well... thank you. I never know if I'm doing these things correctly, so that actually means a lot. Especially from someone who is always looking as awesome as you are. And we can totally get you some cute boots that actually work. They have some really cool looking ones at the EMS in Salem. We should go shopping over break or something. I mean, if you want?"

It was rare that Rowan made shopping plans with girls. Sure she and her friends had gone out together and gotten books and cool things, but she never went with the express purpose of clothes shopping. This would be new and exciting for Rowan.

"You mean Marianne Parker? The love of my life? Of course I'm friends with her," she giggled brightly. "We should definitely invite her! And anyone else you think of! It'll be tons of fun!"

"Aww thanks hon," Michi said with a smile. She was really flattered that her friend had noticed the effort she put into her appearance. It wasn't the most important thing in the world to her but she certainly did love fashion.

"Ooo! Shopping! You want to go boot shopping with me? I would love that! Here, let me give you my number so you can text me over break and what have you," she said whipping out her cell phone."

"Oh! Alright then! I was thinking maybe... Meka and Sera? Hunter, Jenny and Ella? I don't know. I think having a general girls night would be fun. Should we keep that separate from a makeover? I think that maybe giving the boys a night off would be nice for them..." Having never had a girls night, Rowan wasn't really sure what to do here.

"You're very welcome. And sure! I could use a pair of winter boots too. Oh, yeah, let me..." Rowan pulled out her no frills cell phone and took Michi's number, giving the girl hers in return.

"Meka's the President and Sera's her roommate right?" she asked just making sure she had the right faces and names. "Girls night would be amazing! And everyone could get make overs! Oooo!" she clapped her hands together. This was more than exciting.

After they exchanged numbers Michiko beamed, things were going well! She was excited at the prospect of this blossoming friendship. "Cool! I'm so excited!"

"Yeah, that's them. And make overs for everyone sounds really cool! You'll have to tell me what to, you know, bring and such." Her wanting to make sure everyone was included had turned into a rather large gathering in the making. Rowan sighed, mentally. Well, at least the focus won't be on me. Who knows? Maybe she'll forget about me altogether and I won't be the center of attention! A girl could hope, after all.

"I am too! I know a couple places to go to for cute yet functional boots. And not that expensive either. I know boots can get pretty pricey." Putting her cell phone back in her bag, Rowan looked back up at Michi.

"Oh my god, I'm planning it right now. And we should have it at my place! Well... my cousin's place, they would love it! And everyone can say hey to my Izzy early in the evening and my cousin would totally take him for the night to her sister's place down the hall," she grinned. "Anna is really cool like that," she explained.

"Ooo! I can't wait to go shopping with you!" she tittered, putting her cell phone away. "We're going to get the cutest boots and everyone will be jealy," she beamed.
