Rowan had been having a wonderful night. Plans had been made for the future, she had danced and laughed, and in general had a fantastic time. Seeing her friend walking toward her, Rowan's face lit up yet again.

"Hey! I haven't seen you in a while! How's everything... going... You ok?" Not that Meka was the kind of girl who was happy and bubbly and cheerful all the time, but she didn't look quite as happy as she normally did. Rowan hoped fiercely that there was nothing wrong with one of her closest friends.

"No, not really," she said forcing a smile. She laughed, a sad sound carrying no joy. "I hope your night's well," she said quietly.

At the 'not really' Rowan's face fell a bit.

"My night has been great." She said dismissively. If there was something wrong with Meka, that didn't matter in the slightest. "But what's wrong? You want to take a walk and talk about it? Did something happen?" Her concern for her friend was written all over her face now.

"Please," she said simply with a nod. A walk was just what she needed and she was already heading out toward the back doors again.
