He couldn't fight the smirk or the little giggle that escaped his lips. "I can not account for later right now," he said with a little shrug.

"Me in heels! No way, I would fall all over the place!"

"I don't know..." Janis replied, spinning a bit in his arms, "The best heel walkers I've ever seen are usually men. You might put me to shame!"

The song ended, and she fell back into his arms, grinning, bright red and a little breathless from exertion. "Thank you for dancing with me Apple."

Apple shook his head. "I doubt it," he said. "You're looking pretty fantastic in them, I don't think I could top that."

"The pleasure was all mine," he said holding her. "Want to grab a drink?" he asked.

Apple simply nodded and beamed at her. He looped their arms together and took off at a ambling pace toward the snack table. Not only did he ask her what kind of punch she preferred but he poured it for her too! Apple had not forgotten his manners at home like he usually did.
