"I'm sure," she replied and downed her shot. She grimaced momentarily. Very few things could take the bite out of the booze.

She laughed cheerily at his comment and shrugged. "I live near the Hudson River. I'm used to ass tasting water. And PCBs."

"Yeah," she replied. She could always do a quick spell to refresh the air before her roommate came home. "Charmed the door," she added with a little smirk. Otherwise she wouldn't have been drinking.

She giggled with him as the shots started going to her head. She felt pleasantly warm and a little fuzzy. "It would be my pleasure," she replied, taking the joint and lighter. She took a good, long toke and held it in her lungs until she felt like bursting. She exhaled with a little cough. "Been awhile." But man, it felt good.

"Yeah its pretty cheap stuff so it's kinda rough." Shelby laughed. "Takes getting used to."

Shelby waited for AB to finish her turn before reaching out to take the joint from her hand. He was glad she seemed to be having a good time. He pulled it to his lips and took 3 quick tokes, and inhaled it all with one deep breathe. Holding for a few seconds, he exhaled and repeated.

"We should do this more often." he laughed, his eyes already starting to squint.

"You know me. How often do I smoke?" She took another quick shot of her booze and plunked back down on her bed.

"Shit yeah," she replied with a cheerful giggle. "We don't hang out enough."

"Not often enough." Shelby laughed, nudging his friend a little in her side. Shelby thought AB was pretty cute when she giggled (not that he wanted her to know that, they were after all just friends). Seeing her drunk and silly definitely made him smile though.

"Yes dude, we definitely have to! Especially once your probation shit is all over with then we can start getting into some trouble around this place again." He grinned, there was a slightly mischievous look in his bloodshot red eyes.

"I think it might be over actually," she replied with a big wink. "Though maybe we should hold off on causing trouble until next semester." She giggled again. "Throw Pendragon off the scent of mischief."

"Really that's awesome." Shelby replied, feeling like maybe he should of known that already. His terrible memory was particularly bad when mixed with weed.

"Or we just have to be very careful in the meantime." Shelby laughed only half-serious. Grinning widely he stuck out his tongue, "Pendragon has to catch us to bust us."

"We will never be caught!" she proclaimed before breaking into another fit of giggles. She couldn't help it; when Shelby was around her smile hitched in place and couldn't be stopped.

"You feeling sufficiently pre-gamed to hit the dance?" She had at least another shot to go before she was tipsy enough to not give a shit about what she was wearing anymore.

"I'm ready if you are." Shelby grinned but not without pulling out his bag of weed again. "I just gotta make another one for later." He laughed, knowing the difficulty he'd have if forced to roll one later on the back of some school toilet seat.

Slipping a fairly makeshift filter into the open end of the joint he then stuck it securely in his shirt pocket. He looked down realizing he still had his shoes on. "Time to get our dance on." he giggled, shaking his ass a little in what had to be a pretty ridiculous new dance move.
