She was smiling again, (how did he do that?) and giggled a bit into his shirt. "My pic-i-nic basket hmm?"

They might be so much dancing right now, more of a gentle swinging hug instead. Janis didn't mind. "You look very handsome in your shirt Apple."

"Yeah, you know how those bears love pic-i-nic baskets boo-boo," he said with his best Yogi bear voice.

"Thank you," he grinned. "I really like it," he said proudly. "You always look super cute Jan."

More giggling, Apple always caused her to giggle and this was no exception, especially with the high energy of everything around them.

"Really?" She spinned, "You think so?"

"Do you think we could go get something to drink?"

"Of course I do," he felt his cheeks warm a little and thanked the genetics of multiracial parents for their blush resistant skin tone.

"Ah yes my lady," he said, leading her toward the kitchen, his arm wrapped around her waist. "What do you want to drink?" he asked as they made their way over.
