"Mhmm..." He closed his eyes and smiled when she played with his hair. It felt nice. And it made his head stop swimming somewhat.
"But there's a lot I don't know, too, and it makes everything all..." He trailed off in a mumble, since he couldn't come up with a word for what it made everything.
Kenya remembered that, slightly or at the very least that like any puppy, Gael liked being petted. "I don't think you're supposed to know everything yet. Maybe when you're old or something but... not yet."
No kisses, nothing intimate, she just kept petting and playing with his hair. "What's wrong G?"
He snorted. "Even the old people don't know everything." He meant that in particular reference to his family. They knew nothing compared to him... In certain regards.
He couldn't help snuggling up to her side. She was, after all, petting him and his hair and being all nice and comforting. He wanted to tell her... "Nooooo, I can't tell you... S'a secret..."
"Oh?" She paused for a moment, interrupting her petting just long enough to start it back up again. "Did you get bad exams or something?" Not that Gael was known as the smart one by any means, but still.
He shook his head against her shoulder, half nuzzling her in the action. "No... nothing 'bout school r'anything..."
Kenya was trustworthy. And if he made her swear not to tell anyone, he was pretty sure she'd keep the promise... "...you gotta swear not to tell anyone ever."
"Yeah, I promise." Poor guy. If he wasn't drunk she'd probably have stopped him by now, but so far all he made her want to do is give him a teddy bear.
"Okay, just make sure you don't tell it, cause I'd be sad if you died." He gave a solemn nod.
"Leon told me something..." He whispered it again, but leaned toward her ear so she could hear better. "He told me... he's gay." The last word was even softer.
Hay? Fay? Jay? J- Gay... Oh. Oh. Leon was gay. Well, huh. Go figure. That did however, explain poor Gael's here current state. Even if they were 'broken up' and he had another girl, that deserved a kiss on the forehead.
He groaned and clung to her, shaking his head against her once more. "Noo... He's gonna be even more miserable, and our family won't help anything at all, and everything suuuuuucks!"
He cuddled into her more, wrapping his arms around her waist and squeezing, burying his face in her lap. His drunk mind not thinking about the implications.
"It's noooooot though. Everything is gonna be horrible and it's all my fault. All of it, all my fault..."
At least by this point in the night, everyone was officially so trashed that the image of a guy burying his face in a girl's too-short of a dress's lap might not be that, well. Unexpected.
"No Gael, no it's not. C'mon..." What was she going to do with him, really? Take him home? Fat chance.
