Jenny/Sam

"Awww, I still feel really bad that you got dropped," he grimaced a little. "Cheering is far more dangerous than people realize. You have to be tough to be a Beau cheerleader," he grinned. "But you keep it real tough girl."

Jenny/Sam

"People say it isn't even a real sport! Can you believe that? They obviously haven't lived it if they believe that," Jenny mused, rolling her eyes. "And don't feel bad, I wasn't focused. I shouldn't have been so squirmy. Plus, I volunteer to go up, no one made me! And one fall in two years isn't too bad.. just don't ever mention it to my mum. Especially now that she's on the helicopter-parent rampage," she joked.

Jenny/Sam

"Right?! Ina and I took gymnastics for years before we started cheering! No one knows how much training it takes to learn tumbling routines and stuff," he shook his head. "See, you are a tough chickie, I would never volunteer to get tossed up like that," he grinned. It wasn't like anyone on the Beau cheering team would be able to lift him anyways standing at a solidly built 5'10.

"But hey, maybe that common misnomer is a blessing in disguise since your mom lets you cheer. If she knew how brutal it really was she would never let you."
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 9th, 2011 03:32 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"I kind of just jumped right into it.. I never did sports before cheer, but it's like, amazing. I just never thought I'd be able to do something like this.. and it might be scary, but the rush when you get lifted? It's unreal!"

When Sam mentioned her mom again, Jenny managed a little smile, nodding her head. "I love her to death, I really do.. we never fought before this winter. We've never had any reason to. But now I feel like she's treating me like a delinquent or something. I hope she never really looks into cheer, because if she tried to make me quit, then we'd really have something to fight about."
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 9th, 2011 03:56 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Crazy right? Like your just flipping through the air and nothing can stop you," he grinned thinking of one of his favorite sensations in the world. Then he laughed. "Well, except the ground."

Sam smiled, he knew a thing or two about moms and their crazy fights. "I know what you mean," he nodded. "My mom and I never fought until... last summer," he shrugged off the heavy weight those memories held and smiled easily. "They just worry about us, it's a mom thing."
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 9th, 2011 04:02 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Is it selfish to wish that they could worry without clinging? It's like, a 180 from herself. She and my dad have always been such a couple of old hippies, we just did whatever, but now it's like living in a military camp or something. I just hope we get home before her-- that wouldn't be pretty," Jenny replied, pouting a little. "I guess I'll never understand a mom thing unless I'm a mom someday.. until then, I'm just justifiably frustrated."
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 9th, 2011 04:56 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

Sam laughed. "Nah, I don't think it's selfish at all. I think it's... rational," he said with a nod. "I hope you ladies don't get in trouble," he frowned. "I will do my best to keep your field trip under wraps."

867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 9th, 2011 05:00 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"I think we'll be fine," Jenny replied, shrugging a bit. "Mum and dad usually stay out pretty late every other year. At least three. So I think as long as I'm tucked in by one, she won't have a clue!"
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 9th, 2011 06:05 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

Sam laughed. "Well I will do my best to help you get home on time," he was still holding her hands, swaying gently to the music. "I think as long as I get this place cleaned up and ship shape by tomorrow evening, I will be in the clear too."
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 9th, 2011 12:19 pm (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Do you parents even know you have people over? Or, should I say, this many people?" Jenny asked, grinning at him, twining their fingers together as they swayed. "My mother would have a coronary. Especially with the way some of these people are.. I think you're going to have a lot of cleaning ahead of you, hun."
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 10th, 2011 12:29 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

He laughed easily. "They think Bobby, AB, and a couple others are coming over," he grinned. "They have no idea that the entire school showed up."

"If my mom ever found out she may very well ground me until I'm eighty six."
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 10th, 2011 12:33 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"We could live in solitary confinement together than, that's a little less lonely," Jenny suggested, laughing softly. "Seriously though, I would normally stick around to help with the aftermath. Maybe at the next one, I'll hold up the garbage bags for you in the morning."
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 10th, 2011 12:41 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"That wouldn't be so bad," he said. "No worries Jenny, I'll make Bobby stick around to hold the garbage bags this time," he smiled.

"Maybe next time I should try to invite less hooligans," he grimaced a little as a half naked kid ran through the living room at that moment carrying a beer bottle over his head.
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 10th, 2011 12:48 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Well," Jenny began, shrinking closer to him as the kid ran through. "You did say everybody could come. There are a lot of assholes here tonight.. but I guess it's more politically correct than discriminating or something. I just hope no one does anything really bad.. it just seems like juvenile stuff from what I've seen. Although I think there might be a girl passed out on your porch, we had to step over her on our way in."
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 10th, 2011 01:03 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

He laughed. "It's true, I just never thought the entire school would show up." He shook his head, placing himself between Jenny and the dude. "Oh yeah, I've come across a few passed out chicks and dudes," he laughed again. "I'm going to have to make the rounds tonight and make sure everyone is either on a couch or in a tub," he grinned.
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 10th, 2011 01:06 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"People take stuff like that seriously. I once read online about this guy who won a bunch of money, and he put out an open invite to like, his whole town, to come and party with him.. and they like, destroyed his place. Like, police had to come and everything. But this seems pretty tame compared to that," Jenny mused, her shaking. "I just hope you have lots of tubs," she joked, sticking her tongue out.
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 10th, 2011 03:21 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"That's crazy! Maybe next time I'll put a filter on it," he laughed. He knew, in the back of his head, that he should have put a filter on it. "Yeah, I don't foresee cops in the future," he looked around. "Juvenile shenanigans," he said with a nod.

He laughed. "Uh... we have three. I hope that's sufficient."
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 10th, 2011 11:10 pm (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"If it's not, people can always double up. I say as far as piling up drunks go, three people deep in a tub is fair, right?" she joked, giggling.
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 10th, 2011 11:24 pm (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

Sam burst out laughing. "I'd say that's pretty fair. Maybe four if they're small," he joked. "And I have plenty of things to throw at passed out people in the morning," he grinned.

Re: Jenny/Sam

"Yeah, maybe freshies and sophomores in one tub, so you can fit more?" she joked back, still grinning. Sam always knew just how to make her laugh and cheer her up, even when her night prior to now had been shitty. It was a welcome change of mood. "If you need to break anything over anybody's head, just remember you can't use reparo while we're away from school," she warned, squeezing his hands.
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 11th, 2011 12:57 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

He grinned, it was great having a friend like Jenny. "Good call," he smiled. "We could always drape a few over the toilets. Two on each side," he laughed.

"Mierda," he remembered he wouldn't be able to put things together with magic while they were still off campus. "I guess I'll stick to cereal, cardboard boxes, and candy corns," he laughed. "Mom would kill me if I broke any of her potted plants to wake up hung over teenagers."
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 11th, 2011 02:27 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Yeah, and you guys must have a laundry room, right? You could probably stash a whole load of people in there. And they'd have dirty clothes to snuggle up in!" Jenny suggested.

"Cereal works, just don't waste anything good.. like, don't use Lucky Charms or Apple Jacks."
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 11th, 2011 03:13 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Oh! Good call! I'm sure my dirty tee shirts are more comfortable than a toilet," he laughed. "But if I find any of those freaks trying to steal one of my sister's undies I'm going shank a bitch," he joked.

"I wouldn't dream of wasting Lucky Charms. I was thinking Cheerios or Shredded Wheat. Either one would work but I think Shredded Wheat would have more of an impact," he mused.
867_5309 From: [info]867_5309 Date: January 11th, 2011 03:20 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Now I almost wish I was sticking around just to see how you're going to Tetris stack all these drunks into various crevices.. it's almost too good to miss," she replied, giggling.

"Shredded Wheat would definitely hurt more. It's scratchy. I also recommend anything with whole grains, because.. uh, what else are you gunna do with it? Eat it?"
samtheman From: [info]samtheman Date: January 11th, 2011 03:25 am (UTC) (Link)

Jenny/Sam

"Do you get picture messages on your cell?" he asked. "I will definitely send you pictures of my mad tetris skills if you do," he grinned. "I might be putting some people in the kitchen cupboards."

He smiled wide. "Oh hell no! No way am I eating whole grain cereal! And I don't want to waste my cocoa puffs."
