Mari feigned annoyance at his remark and bristled slightly, though her grin was still as wide as ever. "I totally haven't ever touched any Russians. Yet. And they better not be dirty!"
She started full on laughing, trying to smoke to stop the noise as he explained the morning after the night before. "I'm pretty sure he was right in doing so, you were praying on his lovely Emilie." She winked and managed to reduce her laughing to the odd chuckle. "I heard he's really hot though. Is he? It doesn't make you gay to tell me." She winked. "I can keep a secret."
At his next comment she gave him a withering look. "This is Emilie we're talking about. She probably tastes like the blood of her enemies. And bubblegum. I could totally tell!"
"You vomited on one," Ciaran replied. "And that Kaz kid looks pretty grubby to me. Maybe you should wait until he finds the shower."
His lovely Emilie? "If he thought I was preying on her then he doesn't know his daughter at all." She'd left claw marks all over his back and a kind of teeth mark hickey thing on his collarbone; not really the actions of a naive little wallflower in need of daddy's protection.
Clearly Emilie's father didn't see her that way... "Not really. He's...he's just psycho, I think."
The less he thought about Emilie's dad though, the better. Emilie on the other hand...hmm...
"Actually...that pretty much is how she tastes," he said with a smile. "I think it's her snakebites, plus whatever she has on her lips. I don't think you'd taste it in my mouth anymore though."
She cackled and passed him the cigarette again. "But I don't remember puking on him. So it totally doesn't count!".
Mari made a mental note to try and get invited to Emilie's house. However that would happen. She had to see Mr Devlin for herself, she didn't really trust Ciaran's opinion of him.
Mari smiled when he did and studied him carefully. "Maybe I just sucked some freshman dick, you might be able to taste that."
"You admitted to it, so it counts." He took the cigarette from her hand and took another drag. Well, people were generous with their cigarettes; that was one thing the school had going for it.
Ciaran blew the smoke out of his mouth and quirked his brow at Marianne. She was definitely a little crazy. He tipped some of the ash onto the ground and inhaled again.
"Or maybe I'd just taste this," Ciaran said, handing back her cigarette. "The freshmen at this school look...tame. I'd be surprised if they knew what to do."
It was true, the freshmen here were utterly hopeless. But then, who wasn't at that age? "Can you remember being that teeny tiny and being that...annoying?"
"I was 5'10 when I was fourteen," he replied. "And I had a girlfriend so...I couldn't have been that annoying. What about you?" Ciaran threw a smirk at Marianne. "Have you grown since you were fourteen?"
"She wasn't annoying." Well maybe near the end of their relationship, but by then she was into blue hair dye and Fall Out Boy; that said it all, really.
"That's because it didn't need to," Ciaran pushed her hand away from his face. "You want me to prove it?"
She couldn't tell if he was serious or not, maybe just seriously stupid? "Duh, yours. I wanna check out all your cool murdering shit you use to cut up little kids."
Ciaran plucked the remainder of Marianne's cigarette from her fingers and stubbed it out before throwing it onto the ground. "If you saw that then I'd have to kill you too. You're about the size of a freshman, so I wouldn't have that much trouble getting rid of you."
He got to his feet then helped Marianne up. Ciaran gave her about ten seconds before picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder. "But I guess you've made your choice..."
Mari had been protesting that she wasn't finished with that cigarette, and then protesting about her height before screaming when he picked her up.
"Oh how charming" she joked, holding onto fistfulls of his jacket. "If you drop me I'm going to have to hex you into like, oblivion" she muttered, making faces where hecouldn't see.
"A wedgie? What makes you think you can reach that far?" he teased.
With Marianne slung over his shoulder, Ciaran headed back into the Rienzi dorm, passing straight through the common room and up the stairs. He stopped outside his door, trying the handle before fishing his pocket for the key. The lock clicked and he opened the door.
Nobody home. Awesome.
Ciaran set Marianne down and held the the door open for her. "The last room you'll ever see."
With her hair hanging in her face it was hard to make out anyone looking at the pair of them, in fact it probably looked as if she was dead the way she was flopping around.
Once she was set down, Mari toed the line of Ciaran's dorm room hesitantly before scooting past him and inside. It was a little disappointing, no weapons or torture devices but she looked around all the same. She opened his closet a fraction and smirked.
"Out in the woods, like any other self-respecting murderer," he said blithely and closed the door. "Decomposing corpses stink."
Ciaran crossed the room and pushed his closet door shut. She could nose around later. Curling an arm around Marianne's waist, he pulled her a litte closer and brushed his lips up her neck. "My bed's a good place to not talk about killing."
"How would you know, unless you killed someone" she teased. He was much taller up close, enough so that she had to stand on tip toes for their contact to be a little less awkward.
"Well what else is there to talk about" she whispered, biting the inside of her lip incase she started giggling. What a turn of events this was.
"It's common knowledge. At the end of the day, a body is just rotting meat."
But the less we said about dead bodies, the better. Live ones were much more interesting, especially when they belonged to girls.
Cute girls...who were in your room...all alone...
"We don't have to talk," Ciaran purred. "We could just, y'know, enjoy each other's company." His fingertips slipped underneath her t-shirt to stroke her skin. "And you wanted me to prove you wrong, so..."
Mari was having an internal conflict all of her own that didn't really have anything to do with dead bodies and more to do with a really cute guy's intentions and her big fat virgin status.
"Yeah, but.." She squirmed a little when he reached a ticklish spot. "I've never, you know?" She looked up at him, blushing slightly. For all the times she had flashed entire parties, and now she was blushing?
It took about ten seconds before he worked out the answer to that question. "Oh." Ciaran pulled back a little, brushing the back of his neck awkwardly.
"I...Yes?" Mari stepped away a little. "Sorry. Totally, you're supposed to look like George Harrison or a Rolling Stone" she joked, kicking the carpet awkwardly.
As she was turning to leave she suddenly faced him again, pulling Ciaran down to her level and kissing him forcefully through laughter. "Yeah, you don't taste like her" she muttered before pulling away again.
"You wont tell anyone, right? If you do I'll be forced to actually cause you some totally severe damage."
