Re: 8:00 - 9:00 PM

Amy could feel her face grow hot again at Mal's joke about biting, dusting as much glitter as she could off of herself as he went over to the band. She was pretty sure that it'd take at least three showers to wash all of the glitter off.

She was still dusting herself off when he came back, nodding in reply. "Yeah, might be a good idea to take a break to get all of this glitter off, if that's even possible."

Re: 8:00 - 9:00 PM

Seeing Amy blush again only made Mal like her more and he could feel a warm feeling spreading through his chest, making it a little hard to breathe; not impossible, just making it feel like the temperature had risen in the room to about 102 degrees. Strangely enough, Mal felt like this feeling was pleasant.

Walking over to an empty table, Mal watched as Amy tried getting the millions of tiny pieces of glitter off herself. Tentatively he reached out with his hand and combed his fingers through her hair, sending a shower of glitter to the floor, “Ummm, mind a little help?”, he asked, his reddish-brown eyes catching the light from the mirrored-disco ball.

Re: 8:00 - 9:00 PM

"Yeah, I mean, go right ahead." Amy said with a little smile, dusting some more glitter off of her left arm. "I mean, it's probably never going to come off, but it's worth a try."

She probably would have given up after a few more swipes, but when a hot guy was offering to help, she wasn't going to complain, so long as he didn't get overly handsy and try to dust her cleavage off or something.

"It's kind of looks like sparkly dandruff." she went on, examining the glitter on her hand.

Re: 8:00 - 9:00 PM

Smiling, once Amy had given him the go-ahead, Mal moved around behind her and used both hands to comb through her hair, slowly massaging the glitter out. Once he had satisfied himself that he’d cleared her hair of as much glitter as possible, he moved to her bare shoulders, where some of the glitter had deposited, and brushed them off (a bit slower than necessary, he had to admit).

Looking lower to her breasts, where the red dress crossed over them, he blushed; Amy wasn’t that kind of girl, so he immediately erased any idea of his hands moving in that direction. Gingerly, he brushed glitter from the back of her skirt, being careful not to touch her very shapely posterior. “Ummm, I think you’re good now, Amy…”, he came around beside her and smiled, pulling a chair out for her to sit in.

Re: 8:00 - 9:00 PM

"Thanks." Amy said, sitting down in the chair, looking very flushed, but unable to wipe a smile off of her face. The feel of Mal's hands against her skin had gotten her kind of hot. She wasn't used to much physical contact with boys, so even a little felt like a lot.

"So..." she said, not knowing really what to say, but wanting to avoid awkward silences. She tried to remember some article she'd once read about questions to ask when getting to know someone, but most of them were dumb...

"Pirates or ninjas, and why?"

Re: 8:00 - 9:00 PM

Mal smiled when Amy took her seat, once again thinking how pretty she looked and how ladylike she was even in the way she took her seat. He was definitely attracted to her and, by the way she was acting, he thought she might be attracted to him too. That would be fantastic. If things continued to go this well, he would ask her out on a proper date. The thought of it made his heart race.

Before taking his own seat, he walked to the snack table and returned with two glasses of punch and a plate of cookies, a selection of every sort. “Here we go, sweets for the sweet!”, he announced with a dimpled smile. After seating himself, he chuckled and smacked his forehead, “Oh man, I can’t believe I said that! Promise you won’t tell anyone. Not that you’re not the sweetest, Amy, but that was corny and I never say stuff like that.”

Phew! Cool, a question to save me. “Hmmm! Ninjas, definitely! Pirates smell and have bad teeth and dress really funky. Ninjas are cool and deadly…”, he narrowed his eyes and held his hands as if he were going to use them for martial arts, “…silent death!”
