Way beneath the surface of the Atlantic Ocean in the underwater kingdom of Atlantis the dead were rising. Lids were pushed off of the sarcophagi in the royal crypt and in a small cave some distance from the city.

In a cave not too far from Atlantis, the dirt off of Ataam's shallow grave was pushed away, revealing his rotting corpse.

At first, he saw only darkness. Then, a shadowy figure offered him a ring and he accepted it and placed it on his finger.

A grin crossed his face.

If he couldn't be king...than nobody could. Ataam began to make his way to Atlantis.
