The Big Finale
The city of Star City looked deserted. The citizens had either fled or had been turned into black lanterns. At the heart of the city was the entity known as Nekron. Nekron used the city as his base as his black lanterns ravaged the Earth.

The black lanterns increased their numbers each day and the power levels of the black lantern battery increased with each person that died.

Soon Nekron would have enough power to obliterate all life on this planet.

The withdrawal of his entity's power leaves Nekron vulnerable to the myriad physical and mystical attacks being initiated by others, but only now is he most truly vulnerable to the efforts of the Deputies of Light.

The blasts of the various lanterns coalesce as they blast Nekron, uniting to form a white light that rips through his form and batters him as no other attack has since the fight began.

"You /cannot/ destroy /me/! I am a force of the natural order! I /am/ the natural order. Bind and chain me though you might, you can not destroy me without destroying yourselves!" Nekron snarls.

He looks toward the assembled warriors, clutching his scythe to remain upright, though he is battered nearly beyond repair.

	The black entity blasted Nekron with another blast of cosmic power at Nekron and sent him back to the place he came from. The black entity laughed and grabbed a nearby Black Lantern. He ripped the ring off the Black Lantern's finger. "I will return everything as it was, but I get to keep this," he said and held up the black ring. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Stop!" Laria held out a hand, shielding Warhawk's blasts.

"You can bring back the dead?" Laria asked, a little skeptical. She didn't know who the black entity was...but he was saying he would end what Nekron had done, and bring back those made into Black Lanterns.

"Fine," she said, "Keep your ring. But do something like this again, and the entire Green Lantern Corps will end you."

The entity just /laughed/ at her threat as if she just told the funniest joke. "I am not afraid of you and your pretty lights."

"I will bring back everyone who has died in the past six months. Consider it payment for the ring."

He grabbed a small gem and held it in his hand. The gem glowed brightly and a moment later the dead were restored to the living.

He laughed again and then disappeared.

	"Wait...he's returning /all of the dead?/"Damien asks. It takes him /seconds/ to spin this to his advantage in his mind. "Yes, bring them /all/ back." Damien smiles. It's difficult to arrest someone for murder if all of the victims are actually alive. (Reply to this)(Parent)
