Showdown in Brazil
The helicopter carrying the members of the Suicide Squad, Damien Wilson, Morgaine King, and Slade Wilson made closed in on its target. The League of Assassins Compound in the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil. The helicopter bore the appearance of one the helicopters that the League used frequently, so they would be able to get in without much hassle.

The pilot informed Damien that they would be touching down in ten minutes, and the assembled group looked to him for briefing.

Slade's one eye raises slightly as he watches Robert take the shot and strike successfully.

Aloud, he says: "Good shot, kid. Let's get the girl back to Damien."

In his head, thinks: Like father, like son.

Slade just wasn't sure /which/ father Robert was taking after anymore.

However, he pulls his gun and aims at Vertigo.

"Call my daughter a harlot one more time, and I'll send you back to Bratwurst in pieces, Vertigo."

To his credit, Vertigo's expression betrayed nothing. Inside, his indignation at being threatened by such trash was boiling.

"My apologies, mein Herr," he said with a slight bow.

"And to you as well, Rose," he added for good measure.

Slade withdraws his weapon.

"Merlyn, secure Lian. We need to meet with Damien and get you people paid and on your way." Slade says, turning to leave.

"Are you all right? Did he hurt you?" Merlyn asks, turning off his voice synthesizer.
